To calculate your Savings:
1) Price a suit in the UK similar to the one in Bangkok,
2) Subtract the cost of the Bangkok suit from the cost of the similar one in the UK,
3) The difference is your Savings.
4) If you are traveling to Bangkok solely for the suit, then subtract the cost of air, accommodations, etc. from your above Savings. You would probably then end with a negative figure, which of course would not be Savings, but an Excess Cost.

In the UK a quality suit tailor made to your exact measurements will run anything from 500 GBP on the high street to 2,000 GBP in Saville Row. Your choice of fabrice would seem a bit expensive but I would expect it would not add much to this cost as the labour is so expensive and you will be ripped off anyway.
You say a Cashmere suit for 7,500 Baht. This sounds very reasonable for Bangkok.
Leaving aside the cashmere issue a suit should be running at 7,000 to 10,000 from an Indian tailor who is well known, reputable and takes a lot of care of his customers with properly constructed collars etc. and does not take short cuts or let his customers leave the shop unless the fit is perfect.
Yes, I know a lot of these guys use the same sweat shop tailors to construct the suits but attention to detail and attitude are more important than cutting cloth yourself.
The cashmere is another issue. In this price range I would be surprised if it was pure Mongolian cashmere. The best cashmere comes from the high desert plateaus surrounding the Gobi Desert. Mongolia is known for its high quality cashmere and camel wool but the goat population was decimated by drought in the 1990s. Remarkable fineness and superb length make Mongolian cashmere the best in its class.
A lot of "tourist" cashmere contains animal fibres but is blended with silk and manmade fibres to make it cheaper. Ensuring the quality would be difficult unless the cloth came from a reputable source.
I personally would be very careful at this price. If the tailor is reputable and I have used him for some years I may trust the quality of teh service but otherwise no way.
