Try LandMark hotel (between Sukhumvit soi 4 and soi 6). Their restaurant is opened 24 hours.

The restaurant called ThamNanThai is open 24 hours a day. It is in the lower level of the Times Square building, just walk DOWN the stairs all along the front of the building on Suk. There is also a pizza place and a Japanese restaurant down there, but they are not open all night. I've had some fantastic Thai meals here at 3 and 4 AM.
Times Square is right next to the Sheraton Grand Suk.
ThamNanThai has two other locations in Bangkok, but they are not 24 hours.

Took Lae Dee in Foodland Soi 5 is THE 24 hour place to be. Even has a couple of tables, so qualifies as sit-down, although that's what you do at the counter, too...
Only bad thing, these days, is that they stop serving beer at 11 pm: the boys in brown 
Amazing menu, Thai through European. Few people actually die from the food, something I always look for 
I eat there, and aside from lunacy, I have no overt symptoms...

ThamNanThai at Times Square is actually a very nice sit down restaurant (with actual decor) and they serve beer all night as far as I could tell. A good place to start or end your night. The manager is always there and he's a good guy....helped me and my TG when we had a little problem out front one night.

Rex is the place for me after 2:00am. The place is
comfortable and price is just right. A little far from
where the main action is but there are certainly
p4p where rates range from B 1-1.5K
