I recommend La Gritta on Soi 19. I think they have the most wonderful staf, really very friendly. And the Chef is also much more visible. Food was good, and prices ok.
It seems the new manager has redone a couple of things, and indeed it is much more inviting and cosy then in the past. There was, as you would expect, a good crowd there.
MY RECOMMENDATION !

My suggestion for good pizza is Venezia on soi 11,served on a wood platter,nice touch! (it's located beside Bed club) and it offers a very good selection of Italian dishes on the menu too...
Then,let me tell ya that Cafe' 11 have a very wide buffet lunch special on sundays,tasty food made by a thai-indian chef.
Basilico's pizza is not that good,but I do always see this restaurant full of asian customers,businnes like too.
Pizza hut seems loved by arabs mostly as I saw,they were choking on enourmous slices of extra stuffed pizza and onion rings.
I would eat always at Oishi Grand on 2nd floor of Siam Discovery mall,i think is 750++ for lunch,that sets u to a mere 825 for a "first" class Japanese buffet.
