I was on medium.
I changed to high and disabled the pop up blocker.
now the little windows flag was working but nothng was popping up at all.

go back to medium, keep the popup blocker switched off. try again. if no love, try Low.

I know nothing about computers or IT, so excuse me if my suggestion is stupid.
Since this chat-line is related to Bkktonite & since making access easier would attract more members to it ( which is what I think you would like ) why not provide a "user friendly" link on the Forum "last 25 posts " page.
(NOTE : what I mean by user friendly is a link that would avoid all the problems faced so far by members trying to get on-line OR at least lead them through the steps ).

A- That would be a decison for BK to take. It's a good idea, but it's his site.
Access would be more -obvious-, but not -easier- in all cases: it wouldn't solve the tech problems that some interested parties are having.

It's always lonely being a pioneer, Smeg. Seems like a good tool though... for spontaneous "where we gunna meet tonite" type issues when time is short.
The web interface seems much easier, but the font (in mine?) is miniscule.
