Smegs and DF, it was a pleasure to chat with both of you today. Thanks for making the effort!
DF- the font problem is not easily fixed. In IE and on normal web pages you can hold down the Alt key and hit V, X and L in succession to make fonts larger. This puppy won't do that: it's Java.
The only workaround I can think of is to reduce your screen resolution to 800x600 or even 640x480. Or if you are using a system that supports it, try setting your screen fonts to Large Fonts. That might work, too.

The font problem is moot... goes away as long as I can get in using the mIRC client. It's a much slicker little app... reminds me of the goodole DOS days with the command line switches...
It could get pretty wild on the IRC channel with about twenty bros all going at their keyboards at the same time... oh good.... MORE CHAOS!!

Yup. This isn't covered in the FAQ?
A channel is not "created" until the first user joins it. Until then, all ChanServ does for us is store the access lists, topic, etc.
Register your nickname with NickServ (RTFM) and you will be able to be create the channel as first user into it.
If you have registered you nickname and still get that error message, let me know, because it's a problem.
