The first time I came to BKK in 99, I had read Trink's column a couple of times and only new that Annies was near the Rajah Hotel wherever that was. I just finished my 15th trip and it was the best one ever. I owe it all to BKKTONIGHT and the guys whose post make it worthwile to read. There are trolls and losers on this board and I ignore them just like I ignore threads on Iraq et al. I'm here for pussy and fun and hooking up with other guys when I'm in LOS. So far all the guys I've hooked up with I've had a good time with. Even had fun with Sauron discussing gun control etc. I hope to continue for many years on this board.

As to "having fun discussing gun control" I must say, that I am an old fashioned host in the southern Dixie tradition and do not hold with screaming at a guest of mine. However, on this occasion I'd been drinking faster than you (you had better things to occupy yourself) and so perhaps I can plead small mitigation in that I may have been tipsy.
Furthermore it is a guest's obligation not to bait his host. So there would seem to be misconduct on both sides. Yours and mine. I even asked you (while offering more beer) to change the subject to anything but gun control and/or Saddam, in the interest of decorum, but, as I recall, you wanted to have some more "fun". (Shrug).
Anyway, that is merely a mild and mutual rebuke. Otherwise you were a perfect guest. And I believe that otherwise I was a genial and generous host (but that is for you and the others present at the time to decide.)

The Ra-jah is the hotel immediatelyt behind the Nana Hotel. It has changed names. I have never stayed there, always favoring the Nana for reasons of old memories and associations, but it is generally reputed to be about on a par with the Nana or a little lower standard.

Back in August-September and later I used to get flaming hot PMs from a certain member who accused me of "ruining" the forum, blah blah blah. He always delighted in invoking BK's name and alluding to being authorized/empowered to assist BK in moderating the forum.
I corresponded with BK who assured me that my active presence on this forum was welcome.
Once this same idiot PUBLICLY claimed to have been deputized by BK, in a post, and when I challenged this, BK shut him down HARD. "I am the Lord thy forum God, thou shalt not place false Gods afore me."
The offender shall remain nameless.
