I am guessing that perhaps we are having withdrawals symptoms following DG's suspension and old forum members are feeling the urge to start very interesting new threads.
Examples of recent new very interesting threads:
Member tell us he/she is back -thanks, we would have missed noticing if he/she had just started to post replies; better to start a new thread to make sure we don't miss the return event.
Member tell us he missed us after many days not reading forum -it is so nice to know we were missed.
Celebration of local holidays -either for those from other countries that do not know, better learn about it, or because the rest of the world doesn't count.
A seasonality statistical analysis of finding "true" love with the help of internet matchmaker -the jury is still out on this one.
A fatso joined by some friends want to lose weight and we will all get regular updates on their progress (or lack thereof); once there was reality TV, now there is reality forum!!
Lonely member informs all forum of time, date and his location and pleads for company -by the lack of responses to his post, I wonder if he is still there waiting for someone to show up.
Discussion about new interesting threads -member who wants to be funky makes new interesting thread about recent new interesting threads.
The above are a few. What is going on? Are we loosing our creative punch?

TWD respectfully requests all "silly" thread topics go directly to Z udder Forum, where they rightfully belong.
And Smegs, you and me and the boys can have at it. 
With so many happy posters with so much to say, like understanding the disco scene, and how to get a bbbj, and which MP "has the Penthouse Pet of the Year cause I'm a bodybuilder and must have the best, becuce I u bist" maybe a tutorial on spelling, editing, and "Newbies Read This First" is in order. Or some built in feature that does not accept a new post with incorrect spelling. Just my two baht as yet another public service to the brother and sisterhood of the board. 
Hey, that sounds like a cool thread topic, I'll just punch this button and forget the rules.
