Would it be possible to install a polling system? I think it would be informative, could provide us with averages on prices and popularity of certain places.

Tetrapod - It could hurt by it taking time to implement it and maintain it along with the probability that it wouldn't be as useful as one might think as few would be likely to use it to input preferences anyway. I've seen boards with thousands of members and yet polls available on the board get used by a dozen or so people and that's about it. Maybe a good idea but not one that seems to have been much use in practice.

BoomARang: I've also seen several boards with a polling function, and while on some it is a trivial feature, on others it has been utilized quite well.
I know with VBS its quite simple to set up, and nothing to maintain. Since this forum is related to sex, people being offended by risque polls probibly wouldn't occur that often, so maintaning it would be easy.
I believe that it would be a useful resource for this forum.

From what I can tell by searching around, ikonboard either already has the capability for polls, or its included in the newer version.
However if you did upgrade to a new version, I'm not sure how easy the migration would be. I tried to find an add on component, but to no avail.
I'll keep searching, and maybe find one that isn't made specifically for ikonboard, but could still work.
