Everybody knows you are dicing with danger by not using condoms and we should all use them but......it seems like every trip i make there is always once where i manage to break my own golden rule and not use one.
The nagging thought in the back of your mind is just not worth it .You are doing yourself and your TG a disfavour by not using one.
Having said that many of the girls i have been with have not beem worrired at all by not using a condom which makes me wonder if they are that way with all customers.Not real smart in my opinion.
My last trip a couple of months ago i was in CP 2 and in the bath with a lovely when suddenly and unexpectedly she straddled me in the bath "sans protection" and it was too late to do anything but moan with the pure pleasure of it but.....how stupid is that..she is probably doing half a dozen guys a day.Nothing happened but you see there is neglect on both sides the customer and girl.

Hey brother Machine, how can you say that nothing happened. You said that this happened at CP2 a couple months ago. Well my suggestion to you is to keep going for the AIDS test because a couple months isn't enough time for you to be thinking that nothing happened. It's much too late to say better safe then sorry with the condom. Don't make it too late to take care of any problems that may not have shone themselves yet. Peace

The Machine, my friend never used condoms with his girls. His rationale was that everyone else used it, so he was safe.
Anyway, he died in a massage parlor a few years back.
He had a heart attack.

Yeah , well as i stated she jumped me without warning and it was too late to do anything. Very strange behaviour.
I was worried for weeks about it.I am having a full blood count done with aids test on my way back from Bangkok next month.
Why don't a lot of the girls insist on condoms??That is what i would like to know.Furthermore,have you noticed how many girls do not carry condoms.Is there a complete lack of safety awareness amongst many working girls or what?

I can't even believe I'm reading some of this stuff. I have been to Thailand several times (my father is from Chiang Mai) and have never been able to work up the nerve to even get a handjob (although after reading all of your posts, I am definitely going to change that when I visit BKK this May). Even operating under the assumption that I would use a condom, I have been too frightened that I'd catch something to go through with the act. If you don't care about your chances of being infected (which, even with the HIV infection rate decreasing in Thailand, just think of who else she's barebacking it with if she's letting you), please take the following into consideration:
1) We all have a duty to try and reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS. This argument that keeps popping up about "oh, if I end up getting it, that's my choice; and if someone gets it from me b/c they choose to have unprotected sex w/ me, that's their choice..."---it's total crap. First of all, if you contract HIV, you increase the risk for every single human being on the planet for contracting it. Believe it or not, not all people who have contracted HIV have done so through unprotected sex or needle-sharing. You could decide to wear a condom and get it/give it (the condom breaks, someone has a lesion in the pubic area generally, you give blood and it gets by the screening, etc.) to someone else anyway.
2) Your decisions inevitably affect other people, regardless of whether or not you realize it at the time. You don't care if you catch it (which is the same thing as saying you don't care about significantly increasing your chances of contracting it)? What about your friends/family? You expose them to risk, you put them through emotional/financial stress..... it's just plain selfish and ignorant to think your actions only have an impact on you.
3) What about the poor bargirl? What if she gets pregnant? If she does it for you, maybe she'll be more inclined to do it again (and her chances of catching something go up exponentially). Sure, she chose to have sex bareback just like you did. But let's not forget a couple things: that's still not an excuse for killing someone/ruining their life; also, it is only right, albeit a little overly-paternalistic, for a wealthier, presumably more educated man to look out for those girls that are forced into making difficult, often uninformed decisions that have a potential for such significant impact.
3) Even from a selfish standpoint, keep in mind that if you get HIV, that means that you'll have less time on this planet to have great sex with more hot Thai women. Even prostitutes will generally draw the line at dead guys and guys overcome with nasty opportunistic diseases that invade your body once your immune system weakens.
Sorry for the preaching but this is a very important topic for everyone. There really is no excuse for not wearing a condom when having sex with a bargirl. You are not just hurting yourself but also the girl you're with, your family, and just about everyone and everything else.

Thailand doesn't work that way any more than any other country. Just because Thai people believe in that falsehood doesn't make it true, so sane people will still do the right thing.
