As for your suggestion, I agree with you 100%. The next time someone gives hideously false information that damages the reputation of a woman and her place of employment, and then slights the appearance of same woman in their next post, I will "jump all over them" too, as you say.
However, I don't think that when someone does that and I "jump all over them", it would be (nor what I wrote to you is) a cheap shot. I think that after you have drug her name through the worse kind of mud there is for a girl in her profession, and then slighted her appearance in your next post, it is "a cheap shot".
Beyond that, I do not think that I jumped all over you. I am not in the habit of jumping all over posters; rather, simply reiterating what appears to be historical fact, in this case. I just listed what you were apologizing for and said that it was good to apologize. I'm sure you can agree with that, since you did, after all, apologize, did you not? And one, anyone, who apologizes is always brave enough to face the account of what he is apologizing for, is he not? However, I realize that in your post to me just above, you might have been a bit rankled at another less forgiving poster's response, and so found it difficult to face the music that I played.
