BKK Blues how one gets to Angeles City depends on your starting point.If it is Bangkok then I fly to Clark which is 10 to15 minutes by car to the Clarkton.
If it is Manila I take Light Rail 1 to Monumento where I take a Vic
tory Liner bus to Dau.I then walk from the Dau bus teminal about 250 meters to the MacArthur Highway where I hail a silver Jeepney to Main Gate and Margurita Station in the middle of Angeles City.A short walk of 100 meters takes you to the Friendship Jeepney Terminal on Don Juico Avenue opposite Narcisco Street.Ajeepney then takes you past the Clarkton.The all up cost is about 150 pesos.
Now this sound complicated,and for a first timer it is.If there is a bus which will take you from some convenient location in Manila to Angeles for 600 pesos then I suggest you take it.However,you will still need to find transport to the Clarkton,and for this you either take a motor cycle sidecar(a Trike) for 50 pesos,or a jeepney from the Friendship Terminal for about 10 pesos.
To help you to navigate around Angeles I suggest you download Waynes map of Angeles City at http://www.acmap.com.It shows the locations of all the bars,hotels,and restaurants.
On further reflection I agree that a tip of at least 2000 pesos would be required for girls from the Burgos Street bars.I would also agree that many girls would ask for as much as 4000 pesos.These prices have resulted in a steady decline in the last 10 years or so in the number of punters who take girls from Burgos Street bars,and many have closed.The Edsa bars are much more popular,as is the L. A.Cafe(now renamed),and other bars mentioned in this Forum`s threads on various locations in Manila where pretty girls can be had for 2000 to 3000 long time with no bar fine.Of course Burgos Street is more convenient if you choose to stay in Makati,but if you decide to take girls from Burgos Street it should be with the knowledge you are likely to end up paying much more than you need to,especially if you accept the girls` initial asking price without making any effort to negotiate a lower price.

The only time I went to AC was with Oz and Colorado Guy. CG contracted the transportation, VW Van from Manila to AC. I think 1,000 pesos each. We stayed at the Swiss Chalet near the action. One of the high points was the food in the hotel restaurant. (The food in the Philippines is notoriously bad). Also the rooms were very large.
I had fun but AC is not my cup of tea. As others have written not much to do but drink and screw. I also felt that most of the girls were not that attractive. So now I only go to Manila.

There are probably about 4 to 6 thousand P4P girls in Angeles City depending on whether it is high or low season.Because the girls are located in almost wall to wall go go bars,concentrated in a relatively small area,it is easy to view hundreds of girls in the course of an evening.
Certainly there are a lot of unattractive girls(probably the majority),but the large number of available girls ensure that there are still many pretty girls from which to choose.However,I concede that the really beautiful girls that can be found in the more upmarket bars in Manila are a scarce commodity in AC.But these girls are expensive,and often turn out to be star fish.AC offers more of a bargain basement experience, although there are about 3 more upmarket bars in AC where very attractive girls can be found at prices higher than the normal,but still a lot cheaper than Manila(a bar fine of 3000 pesos and an expected tip of 500 to 1000).
There is a rapid turnover in P4P girls in AC which increases the chance of finding girls who are new to the business and who, for that reason,are more likely to offer a GFE which I prefer.
The real downside of AC is that there is really little available other than sex and alcohol.It is also very sleasy,much more so than Pattaya,but this is typical of the Philippines in general.Manila is a much less pleasant city to visit than Bangkok with far more dirt,pollution,poverty,and squalor.

I am being posted to Manila in about a month and have tried to search the Philippines thread for information, regretably without much success,
When I was in Makatai City about three weeks ago for a brief visit I went to P Burgos street (I had been there before but only to the bars). I was looking for massage places like here in Bangkok (more oily based) and whilst I found a few, it was rub and tug rather than FS.
I searched a few other forums but did not see much information on this type of "activity" and so am seeking help from any members who can provide some details. I will be based in Makatai City. I saw that you can use the escort agencies and they do the massage thing but the cost is around 8,000 pseos for 2 hours. Any advise appreciated

Simple answer would have been Roman Suite but I think they may have closed. They were just behind GreenBelt 3. There is another place in Burgos or in a street parallel to Burgos that is good, let me try & remember the name.
Plus there is Air Force light 168 which has/had some of the best looking girls in Manila last visit, they also have a Happy Hour (I think if you arrive before 7pm) plus a Music/Escort Lounge, very Bangkok like.

Well the time has come and I am off to Manila (Makati City) after having being "spoilt" in Thailand over the past 10 years with all that is on offer. The last month I have spent some time in Manila and from what I have seen so far, it just does not compare to what we have here - yet people rav about the place - I must be missing something or I just don't know where to look. I am still to find a good massage place that is reasonably priced (less than 4000 to 7000 pesos) which is around 3,500 to 6,300 baht. I am still looking but if anyone knows of any I would certainly appreciate the help.
Similarly if anyone knows of a good forum that I could latch onto for some local information like this one, I would be very grateful
