drive to angeles, only 90mins away, hotel can even collect you, more choice and cheaper and more of a fun relaxed experience imho

I have to agree with snpark, Angeles is the place to go. Hands down the best place for mongering. If you've never been there I highly recommend it. The only knock on Angeles is 'things to do' besides mongering. Not a problem for me though as they have poker rooms.
Most people go to SM mall, but another good place is Nepo mall.

actually there are a few things to do, depends on your level of botheredness - climb the volcano, do the hot springs spa, go to subic beach or puerto galera, take the abc hotel helicopter, theres a lot of golf etc, so actually its not just a panda lifestyle, eats shoots and leaves
unless u want to hang out all day in margarita cafe looking out onto the pavement forlornly hugging a 2 hour old warm $1 san mig light - but thats usually for the over 60's hahahaa
