I left a heinekken in after skool couple of weeks ago also. Something was not right went for a piss left the heinekken next to my mate at the bar came back and it tasted like lime or something similar to lime juice.
Gave it to the cashier said something is wrong with the beer she replaced it straight away for another that didn't taste of lime.....
weird.

About 10 days ago I ordered a beer in afterskool and it tasted a bit strange as well. Like it was flat and lime was in it.
I was very suspect of it and only finished about 1/4 of it and went to another cowboy bar that I have friends at.
I started to feel a little lite headed and sick in the stomach.
Thought it was just a case of over tired as I had only flown in that day.
But this makes me really think.
I was not that unwell but did feel very lite headed and a few times the room did a spin.

I am not a client of this bar, I go there once every quarter but surely someone here is a regular.

Oh my god! A bar in Thailand sold expired beer! The bar girls tried to get money from me! Somebody wasn't nice to me! The guy over there is looking at me funny!....... Let's all picket out in front of Afterschool and sit in a circle singing koombiya, then let’s have a group hug because we were so mistreated as a children.
I love open forums, you get to see all kinds and the opinions (or lack there of) they bring to the world. Me? I have my opinions, most don't like to hear them so I use sarcastic humor to get my point across.
Anyway, will be back in the Adult Disney World in a couple of weeks and you can bet your a** Afterschool will be visited at least a time or 2. So if you see a slightly overweight, yet handsome 40 something yrold (43 actually) guy sitting in the Naughty Boy Corner with a cute 20something yrold bar girl making Mr Happy sing, just give a wink and raise your glass in toast to yet another satisfied customer. (Though I may be on the couch with a girl in each hand as they have Mr Happy in hand). I will buy a drink (or three) for the guy that can recognize me. I will answer to "JRO". ((this offer is only valid in the afterschool between 25 Feb and 10 Mar 2008, you can not be seen walking up to every old guy and ask, “are you JRO? Only one winner per night, but I may buy a drink or 2 for your mates too) )
Now let's go have fun out there and relieve some of that back pressure that has been building up while sitting there reading the inane writings of a man that needs to do the same. And will somebody out there tell me how the hell you spell Koombiya? I me really, spell check can't figure it out! Now for that answer, I will pay for you to experience the thrill of the "Corner" (700 baht limit)
My offer is valid (and the dates I will be there), but I would still enjoy meeting up with some others from this forum.

I frequent Afterskool and while I've never spoken to the owner, I know about 50% of the girls on a friendly basis, about 30% of them extremely well. I find it very hard to believe that any doping of drinks is occurring. PUSHING of drinks, sure...
And FWIW I don't go there to be "serviced"...I go there to drink, buy drinks for and talk to the girls. It's also one of the only bars in Thailand where I've been given free drinks, and the only bar where I'm given free drinks regularly (lord knows I drop enough cash in there!).

A little late on this post but I couldn't help commenting on the posts from the 2 fellows who had beer with a lime taste. Corona, as everyone knows is the beer that became trendy due to the lime wedge stuck in the top. How the lime got there is key to the whole thing. Way back in the day, the sun would shine through the untreated clear bottles and turn the beer a little skunky. So the Corona people came up with the idea of adding a little lime to disguise the taste.
