I stopped by this place twice back in March, both times were excellent. Great band, DJ, good looking waitstaff and lots of attractive FLs. What's not to like? And much better energy and crowd than in years past. I usually go there to play pool upstairs, but stayed downstairs both times last visit.
The only weird thing that happened was some Thai woman behind me started tossing stuff at me... an ice cube, an empty water bottle... couldn't figure out what that was about. She was with a falang and what looked like her 15 year old daughter. And I had TG company. For a moment I thought perhaps she thought I had been flirting with her daughter. But it was more like the mother was flirting with me. Her falang gave me a shrug, and pulled her outside for a talk I figure. But then, sometimes inexplicable things like that happen in LOS and you just got to shrug it off, and move on....

Thanks for your comments.
What happened to you that night is sometimes unavoidable in LOS, Just need to keep cool and if you think it's going too far, just ask for the Manager who will right away use our Security staff in order to let the good time roll !

DrL, in March it was definitely new owner, new name. Bangkok Beat.
Might have only changed that month or shortly before though.

JJ came over from New Wave, great bloke. Pierre u bought me a bottle of Malibu one night after drinking 4 bottles the night before, was a very nice gesture. I'm sure JJ introduced us, but I was drunk

The new manager at New Wave looks like a bum, long ponytail, dresses like a bum and has absolutely no idea about running the place.
