ahh another one of rtb "fine" establishments. Warning. if tuktuk service is offered it means you are more than just a 5 minutes walk to BTS. Probably well at the end of the soi. Stay at Manhattan and enjoy.
You know, I think they should not allowed commercial spam from persons with direct interest in hotels such as rtb or BK. Oh well, to each his own... LOL

No one in this thread said that it is a 5 minute walk to BTS. It was said it is a 5 minute walk to Sukhumvit. There is not a BTS stop at Soi 18.

haha and the tuktuk service is provided for this walk from the end of soi 18 (which is around rembrand by the way, not a convinient place) that is just 5 minutes? In the responses it is implied as if the distance from BTS is 5 minutes walk, but now that we know this is not, and it is quite far actually, we sort it out and people will know better than to try one more of a grottino new openning. Remember the trouble the grottino had in the begining? wait and let it run for a few months if at all you consider staying there. Still manhattan, and Regency suites is better choice close to everything. For a newbie especially this is not a good place at least location wise.

This thread is quite clear and nothing is "implied", I think. It is stated that the walk to Suk is about 5 minutes, and there is a tuk-tuk service to BTS or the Emporium, both of which are further than a 5 minute walk. Simple.
And you've made it clear you will not stay here.

jeez.
I am just promoting this new hotel with a special deal for BTF readers.
of course there are better locations and better places. as they say in thailand, up2u.
the location is much worse then the rembrandt.
we are at the very end of sukhumvit 18.
if you stay 3 nights you get the 4th night free.
if you stay 5 nights, you get the next 2 nights for free.
room rate is 1200 baht, incl ABF.
we also have special suites with group jacuzzi. they will be 2900 baht, incl ABF for two.
oh yes, there is going to be a G-club in the basement. thanks for reminding me Isee.
please also note that Town Lodge commited to a AD banner on this very forum, that will help cover BK's expenses.
