you can try Swan 4 Hotel ( across the street from the old brunswick bar ) next to Ronny's pizza on soi 4.
it is real new and the rooms are clean,no swimming pool but they dont charge joiner fee's and only have double size beds. clean towels, room service ( food and drinks 24 hrs ) and only 800 bt a night.
