Did, did you book double? How was the ABF?
The best part I feel is getting the 2 breakfast coupons and you can take your TG for BF. Brings a smile.
If any bro has stayed in Pallazo and also in Manhattan, other than the location which could be better? Manhattan has its in-room safe which is an advantage.

I booked a single deluxe, with king bed. No proplem with 'guest' at all. They didn't even ask for ID, and you have to pass the front desk to go to the lift. I brought girl everynight. They do not have in-room safe, only front desk area has safety box.

ps, if you want to swim or work-out in gym, go next door to Emerald Hotel, you can use for 100baht, just tell them you are guest of Palazzo (same owner).

Just a small point, but it's not ducted air conditioning here, there's an individual split system for each room with a compressor outside your bedroom window, which is quite a bit noisier.
You need at least 3 Singhas not to notice it.
But, hey, it's not 5 star here, and it's cheaper.

Its just over 1000 baht online, stayed in August but was disappointed. The rooms and food are fine but karaoke and cafe are no more. Surrounding area VERY boring unless a lover of massage and overpriced karaoke-peter

SG & Plazzo are different, Plazzo is very much an Asian Hotel, its clean & funtional but the food is crap and the service varies. It is good value for money and well located if you want to be close to the MP's.
SG is close to Cowboy & one stop from Nana, well run but very casual, rooms are much better, Western Food much better! Stayed reguarily at both, haven't been back to Plazzo since SG opened!

It actually worked out well because we went to the MP's during the late afternoon or early evening. Afterwards, we would rest up and go to Nana or Qbar. Also SG was more central to Tulip or Darlings for early afternoon action. SG is 1800 baht and Palazzo is 1100 baht so not too bad even if you keep both rooms. Also Town Lodge is an option to SG and less expensive.
