THB 1,600.00 must be a typo, our room rates start at THB 1,800.00 for the Superior Rooms...
Deluxe rooms usually have Jacuzzis, THB 2,600.00. If you would like to stay in a Jacuzzi room please mention it in your reservation request, then we will make sure that the correct room type is reserved for you.

BK thanks,, but I was looking for the prices on their web-site, if I enter a restaurant and it doesn't have prices on the menu I always check if I have at least AUD$500 in my pocket plus my credit card,, THEN I run like hell... 
Said in link was 1800+++ now we hear 1,600, at 1,600 I will give it thought.
Never mind I recon this trip I try Swiss Park,,,field report promised.

I am staying at Livingstones for a couple of nights to get my body clock turned around before spending three weeks in Vietnam. The place far exceeded my expectations. It is fairly easy to find. They have a large sign on the west side of Soi 33 about 100 meters from Sukhumvit. My room was immactulately clean and the new plumbing in the bathroom and shower is excellent. Haven't tried the weekend parties but the room is clean, quiet, and has a great air conditioner. I would highly recommend Livingstones especially considering the proximity to the other delights of Soi 33!

Back at the Livingstone after three weeks in Vietnam seems like the lap of luxury again. My deluxe room is about 25 square meters and is very quiet and comfortable. Nice bed and new plumbing fixtures and a great shower. Excellent American breakfast is included. Very attentive staff and management. It's a convenient location to the artist bars, Akane, Emporium, and the Phrom Phong sky train stop. It has some features that I really like such as a nice pool in an enclosed courtyard and an air conditioner that doesn't need your room key to keep going! They are relatively small and frequently booked up so it's a good idea to make reservations in advance. On premises bar and steak house don't hurt either!

The pics of the pool with all the tables and chairs and poolside dining has me concerned.
Can one actually use the pool just to swim and relax on a chaise lounge taking in the sun? Please tell me there are normal chaise lounge chairs ringing the pool as well.

LOL. You can actually use the swimming pool.
During dinner (7 pm to 10 pm) we appreciate our guests not to swim, if there are customers dining in the restaurant.
But - as the past has shown - that actually regulates itself without us needed to interfere.
