Notice a few mentions re MBK girls etc on another page, anyway wandering around Siam square the other day, bit early for Novotel, and noticed some SYT's going into upstairs bars, U-sit was one, and opposite Fou Bar - I went to have a look in Fou bar, note they apparently have a web site, [foubar.com] - entry to this is best explained by walking thru siam square till you come to the fountain that has a sign saying "center point of siam square" this is on the small inside lane that runs parrellel to ploenchit, from MBK down to the Novotel, just behind the fountain, on the left as you face it, is a shop with a large 1,2 CALL sign, and directly opposite that a stairway takes you up to Fou bar - plenty of student TGs get in here, also some of the workers in the area, but not until later, the waitress's are all good sorts, look like the owners Mia Nois rather than waitress's, and not a bad place to wait whilst waiting for hard rock or Novotel to get busy ... food is good and not expensive, drinks about 100 bt a glass.

There are lots of student pubs in the area, some which are frequented by the teachers in the area. Its mostly table setting envi. though - hard to blatantly flirt with a girl, and girls would be extremely friend conscious. Would have to have a Thai in company ...

"FB" - not losing some confidence are you ! 555 - but yes, correct, as I mentioned, not really a pick-up joint, although I thought a man of your talents might have made some progress with the "waitress's" ??? in Fou bar, they aren't bad, and look like they have more spending money than you and I [ maybe not more than BK tho !! ] - and also, as you say, in most thai joints, table location holds the key, thats why I better stick to dance fever, the waiters there know only to seat TGs at the tables either side of mine !

TPE - no loss of form, I hope, just that when I've been there, it’s usually with a Thai lass - bit hard to be forward. Might have to revisit again soon with a couple of Thai mates.
Some bad news: went to Lung Nam last Wed with a farang mate; walked into the first place, was well lit, and overloaded with LB's. One (very) quick beer and we moved to the next one - coyote; they've renovated a little since my last visit, still dark, loud, packed, but very very gay - male dancers on certain tables, Orbit/Forte style. One LB went right up to my mate while I was out for a piss and flashed its tits in his face. My friend is still in shock - welcome to Thailand!! We were pissed enough to buy some staff t-shirts a 100b apiece.
All is not lost, apparently its only gay during the week. I have a TGF living nearby, so I will keep an eye on things.
Will have to come check out DF with you some time...

I feel that Hollywood and Dance Fever are the best places to simulate pick ups. Just a little drink and it's easy to convince oneself that these working girls are just regular girls taking a break from studying or having a 'drink' after their office job at around 11pm-2am midweek. 
Also, the amount of drug use by the girls and relatively dark atmosphere can only help to make us all just a bit more handsome and help us morph into the Cassanova's we really are.

might swing by, who knows. Will be at the WTC beer garden for a bit (and if it doesn't rain) in the early evening, and as fate would have it, to get to my house, I have to drive either past or through Ratchadaphisek on the way to Ladprao.

WTC - great perve value, good music (at Heneken stand). Girls usually with guys, but often in groups. Well worth checking out, if, as Pack says, it aint raining - sure beats the soi 7 beer garden!!

555 cheers FB, but with you young bros swooping on all the fresh young talent, I just have to cop the soi 7 leftovers !! - apart from which my TG see's I dont have the time to pursue anyone half decent ! Some good clubs in CM, although a few years since I was there, I used to feature at a 2 storey joint, upmarket resturant/bar about a mile from the city center on a main road heading west -
