PUMP UP – Superperfomance Pub
I went there last night with couple of female friends (one an ex-Forte dancer).
The place is in the left hand side (going away from Suk) of Ratchada. Before the Robinson store.
It is huge and the sign outside says Superperfomance Pub –whatever that is.
Check of Ids for the girls and in we go. No cover charge. The place is huge. A single open space built like an aviation hangar: no columns.
As we go in, we see some girls dancing on a stage to the right. They were washing a car. Once the car was washed and out, another one came in. And another. I do not know if people actually pay to have their cars washed in plain view of everyone by girls dancing in shorts –driver remains inside the car. It may be fun one time, but seeing the same thing done again and again … well, I found it a bit boring after a while. The music was good though.
The place is very basic in the décor. Tables are actually empty oil barrels that are moved around to accommodate the situation. A black piece of glass is put on top, and over the glass goes the ice bucket, whiskey bottle and mixers and glasses.
Price of a bottle of black is 1,250. Zero mixers are included. You have to pay for those extra. I paid about 250 the first time and we had to order more later for another 300. Individual shots of liquor are 150. I saw some people getting food, but we didn’t order any. You pay the moment you get anything you ordered. After that, you pour your own drinks. Service was fast as there are many staff walking around in bright orange uniforms. Well, basically all they do is bring you your drinks as you order them. Not follow up service.
After the washing show ended, a band took over. The playing was very good and the sound system decent. But the singer was bad. A pity cuz the rest of the guys in the band were good. The selection of music is about 60% Thai rock/pop and the rest recent western hits. I think the music selection is good for the crowd there. Every one seemed to be very happy and having a good time.
The place is huge and seems very popular with the all the local crowd. I bumped into some good young friends -girls and guys from good Thai families, as well as into some not so good girls. I think I saw about 6 - 7 people I knew (probably they were more I didn’t even see). The place was packed and though hard to estimate, I am sure I am not to far off if I say that there were about 1,000 people inside.
After the band ended their hour, came the DJ. Good selection to please almost everyone. Now it was about a bit more western and about only 1/3 Thai songs. Played techno and hip-hop and a little popular rock.
The place looks very decent. Well, what you can see around you –the walls and ceiling for sure. You have a good view of everything from wherever you are. There is a water fountain in the center. The floor and the tables are the most basic you could get; and not many places to sit.
Saw many many many good-looking girls. Some babes with their BFs, some in big groups and some with bodies like from Poseidon 3rd floor. I bumped into several dancers from Orbit/Forte/Caribbean. Of course, there is always one who knows the other who knows the other one, so after a while all the dancers from the different places were together chatting about their own things. I was surprised that I would see so many on their own with friends on a Friday –instead of going to work. One from Caribbean told me she got out early because the police were going there tonight (sometimes customers don’t notice but it is not unusual for police to go behind doors and just test the staff).
All in all an interesting fun place to go; not to pick other girls –not that you may not, but it is not a pick up joint. The people are going there to have fun. Take your TGF there if you want to be nice and want to let her have fun the way she would if she was with her own friends going out.
I would go again, but only with Thai friends. Not a place to go alone with 4 or 5 farangs, unless we are bringing girls with us. BTW, I think I saw only about 3 or 4 farangs: one even older than me.  The average age of the people there, about 23-24 years.

RTB, I didn't measure any ratio. But there were many good looking Fs. In that sense it was like any normal place.

Pump Up sounds a little dull.
Cant think what it has anything to offer that isnt more fun or done better at somewhere like Santika or Booze.
Shame there isnt better freelancer/pick up joints in Rachada. I guess those pubs/clubs in Soi 4 - Rad etc. arent bad.

The air/con is good even when very crowded... and many many people in one place. But yes, I kinda of agree. But Thais are liking it a lot, so... if going with a local crowd.... girls like it there.
Went again a second time -with the 2 dancers from Caribbean and they had a very good time.
