I would appreciate comments on Crystal Palace and the like rather than the background of the people involved running them. That's interesting info but you may wish to open a new thread entitled THE BACKGROUND OF SEVERAL PUB/BAR OWNERS....your last info should fit on it....

Well, there's not much to say. The format is bar girls in gowns, rather than Go Go. Same girls, same prices, different wrappers. Sort of Soi 33 meets Klong Toey. I mean, there is no difference in the class of girls at CP as opposed to Superstar, there's just a lot more skin showing at one place than the other.
Shall I have Architectural Digest send in a team to do a photo essay on the decor?
BTW pinga, all this redirect to stay on topic and not ever digress to have even a slightly tangential discussion, is really stultifyung. You make it seem like the forum is a repository of great wisdom, highly organized, Dewey Decimel System catalogued, and of serious interest to academics and posterity. BALLS. So what difference does it make if we talk about the history of the bars and owners, riddle me that?
Some may find it of interest and some may not. As with all things, but at least is does concern CP, Patpong, Bangkok, nightlife. The business of Bangkok nightlife for farang.
It's not as if we were digressing about celestial mechanics or nanotechnology or the price of thousand year old eggs in Chunking.

BF is certainly B/.500 at Crystal Palace and COSMO Bar but the beauty of the TGs will depend entirely on your taste. I am familiar with Soi 33 and I can tell you that I will NOT pay 1.5K as a BF for most of them. You have to add the "TG fees" which are around 2-3.5K ST/LT I can find the same kind of girls at CM2 or the like.
Yep! check these bars out. These are hassle-free bars. Take a beer, scan the scenario and move on the other door to have the full overview of these bars before taking a decision.

The girls are NOT equivalent to Soi 33, they are the usual Patpong standard these days and IMHO that's about like Soi Cowboy 10 years ago.
Still better than Cowboy or NEP today but, a far cry from Soi 33.
The 500 BF is what they're worth. If they were worth more you can bet your ass the bar would get more.

Yeah, the girls in Soi33 arent really drop dead gorgeous
and its insane to barfine them at 1-1.5K
And the justification of the mamasan was that they all are HIV free which almost made me fall off my chair !!!
The DJ in Christies was kinda cute and the music she plays are my type as well... but the bar fines just put me off....
So, CP and Cosmos will be on my list for sure this month end.
Problem is i have no patience !
Last time i entered Kings Castle and told my fren to scout around before deciding..
and everytime we lasted only to the second bar (dick itchy) and always end up getting a TG and leave at 9pm !!!!
I guess this time, its steady pom pee pee...
will browse through all the recommended ones listed.
