45 is a lot better these days then when I visited there back in April. They closed the cheesy top floor, and have made a good sized room on the second floor with a DJ spinning. None of that gay Karaoke. Still a seedy place, but at least the music is better.
Anyone been to the place behind 7-11 on Soi 11? Not the small place on the Ambassador Hotel side of the street (The one that makes you reek like you have been in Marlbourgh Country for a year).
As a side note. Some TG took me and a few others to this Thai Disco (Hollywood type place) on Petchuri called X9 last night. It was open till 3am. Lots of hotties in there. At least it was a place to drink, and dance.

Ye Old belle on soi 11, behind the 7-11 which is across the street from the Ambassador.
Sin Bar behind the 7-11 on Soi 4 Nana (rooftop bar)
Rung Muang Soi 1, Behind MBK
There are some other good places to go after 2, but those have to be learnt from experience...sorry.

Absolutely. They're all f***ed up though. But I consider that a good thing.

It is cetainly a good thing, if not essential. The more f***ed up the better. Because I am normally completely out of it by that time as well.
Went to Soi 19 on my last trip. A bit too posh for that time of night. And Soi 1 was empty. Sin wasn't much cop. Downstairs was humming but no tarts.
Loks like I'll have to give Petch 45 a whirl again.

looking for post 2am partying...
just head over to blur on new petchburi... same location of the old britclub...
the place is packed on the weekends with thais and foreigners partying till 5am...
only problem, though small.. other than the not so great aircon..
is that you must either buy a bottle with your group to enter or you have to already have a bottle or person inside... the latter is easy... just have someone come before 2am (trust me the tables are almost all full by this time) and then have that person come to the front and bring you inside...
the reason for the late time.. very high ranking fellows in the police are owners...
always a good time... not sure on weekdays though...
