I hate to sound like a boring wannabe old hand (but I will anayway) but I'm sure you're right and I swear we were saying the same thing 10 years ago -- and we were right then. Newer arrivals probably won't believe it -- who could blame them --- but the general standard in Go Gos used to be MUCH higher.

MrJoe, don't look now but you are an old hand and neither boring nor wannabe.
Meanwhile Det Sgt pinga of the Forum Police says I'm suspected of agenda-conspiracy and he's going to do me for mopery w/intent to gawk.
Apparently BK in a sublime moment of foolishness has put pinga in charge of social order on the forum (Purachai being busy elsewhere) and pinga wants us all in our places with bright shining faces.
Asides, comments, historical indilgences, and anything else than Mr Rogers Neighborhood decorum will be dealt with by Obersturmbahnfuhrer pinga.
So I bid you all adieu, I'm not going to hang around to deal with the rantings of a petty martinet like him. I already told him to go screw himself in a PM. So I am telling him to go screw himself here and now publicly.
I will communicate my thoughts on this to BK by email.

There are no other moderators on board that I know of, and self proclaimed moderator has no power to delete or edit posts.
I hate "censorship" and "control" too, however I DO encourage that we keep discussions in their respective places, for the convenience of being located. Additionally, this forum is not yet database driven (will get to this, when I have too much time on my hands), so searching on this forum can be a real chore.
