Never a problem anywhere. Not in Q bar either, but they never ask me for an ID anyway, always waved through. Only the day after the raid they asked me if I caried an ID. After saying yes the door swung open, nobody saw my ID.

Getting very tired of Qbar ask the door man when do you close 02.00 and acording to the website 02.00 but to the staff inside it was very clear that they closed at 01.00 as always no adays. Last time I was there went in at 23.45 they closed at 00.00. another way to waste 600 THB

Q bar never closes at 00.00!! Tell me which day, more than likely either my GF or me was there.
We all know that they need to close at 01.00 but they try to go on as long as possible, that is until the BIB arrive.
And again....
Monday to Thursday - THB 400 entry - 2 coupons towards drinks for 200 THB
Friday to Sunday - THB 600 - 2 coupons towards drinks of 200 THB
If you want to pay less.... go elsewhere is my advise.

I've generally had very good experiences at Q Bar - you pay for the atmosphere, the environment, the exquisite selection of liquor, and a nicer selection of patrons that doesn't ruffle your feathers.

I don't really wanna pay less and Q bar used to be one of my very fav hang out in BKK, but I've given it a miss recently cause of the 1am closing. A cab ride and 600bth for 40-60mns is borderless aceptable and by the time U get out chat some people and get another cab to a place which closes at 2 am... well u arrive when it closes.
May give it another try tonight though as I'm still up for easy sex and sickened by the music and cocktails in CM2. WTF ever taught the barmen there??

I had bought a bottle of Gin and left about 1/2 remaining (got a ticket). The tix had an expiration of one month, I recently showed up on Day 32 and the doorman took my ticket, told me it was expired and if I wanted to get in, I would have to pay the cover charge. When I asked what happened to my bottle, he told me they threw it away.
I did notice that he didnt rip up the ticket, just put it aside (wouldn't return it to me). No way they threw it away that quickly, what probably happened was after I left, they used the rest of the bottle to sell single drinks and make even more money.
I understand about the expiration date and why its there, but the blatant rip-off and the surly service means I will never go there again. Actually, correction, I will never spend another baht in there, I will go there if someone offers to pay for all my drinks (which I doubt will happen anytime soon).
Its usually a sausage party in there, and I have seen some girls in there asking 3000LT whom I had seen them in BeerGarden previously. This is probably more sour-grapes on my part, and as ManuelBKK says, if you dont like it go somewhere else... and thats what I choose to do with my hard earned baht and their friends.
