Lets face it, these places are made to be shut down.
In my opinion the only one that did a good job at staying open for a long time was petch 45 and for some good reasons.
End of the day you gotta ask yourself why you fancy these kind of places. You end up meeting the same 50 or so guys and the 50 or so girls. Out of these 50 there might be not more than 5 you havent shag, you wouldnt mind shagging some of them twice but knowing they got hitten by all the other 50 guys is a bit depressing.
Moreover most of these places are paying hip top 40 which is depressing too.... last but most important who wants to get busted by the boys in brown....
I good with 2 am closing in most cases though I would mind extending to 3/4 during week end....

Well, we are came from different places and cultures, now do we? I see your point about meeting the same people over and over again, but I don’t go to those places to hit on girls. Most of the time I am so wasted I would hardly recognize my own mother and hence I am in no state to go home.
Where I come from a 1am closing hour is an insult. There is no way we leave clubs when it still dark. Actually, a couple of years ago a mayor of a tiny town got mental and decided to close bars at 3AM. The next weekend there were riots. I shit you not. It was revoked after a month.
I know I am not at home now and I am trying to adjust, but it’s been hard. Very hard.
