There is also another after hours place (Karaoke Type) on the south side of Petch, across the street from the place that everyone already knows. It is more towards the corner there, inside a little group of shops, on the left, if you are looking south.
Same people working there that use to be at the old Soi 19 place on top of country road. They have food there also.
Was there back in April, have not been back since.

That place has been around for some time and if the other place is closed then this one will certainly be closed since the boys in brown know it too well.
Almost 2 yrs ago it was an ok alternative but not sure what it is like these days.
Well that is on the assumption we are talking about the same place.

Personally, I think it’s f***ing ridiculous that grown men have to sneak to small crummy places to have some fun after 1AM. Commandeered by uneducated, corrupt f***wits in uniforms, nonetheless. Hypocrisy at a sad height.
Harassing the end-user who had a pill or a snort of coke by locking him/her up after harassing him/her with piss cups on a night out. Who are they kidding? As a rule, a police force that does that is corrupt all the way to the top. They should be focusing their attention on child rapists and the dealers that bring in tons of coke every single day right under their noses.

Clearly you missed the year (2003, I think it was) when the focus was on pursuing dealers and distributors, and it was done with the same aplomb and professionalism - a year that 2,700+ people were killed by the same police. Now that all the dealers and distributors are dead, all they are left with are the end-users.
In all seriousness, the end-users drive demand, just as the other scum are driving supply -- it's not a uniquely on-way street. Furthermore, I have little sympathy for losers that do drugs... so, if they get harassed by having to piss in a cup, or taken to jail... QED.

Heard thai places suffered a lot aswell during NSO, but places like Siam Hotel and Bo Kung Pao have been going on almost all along (all along for Bo Kung Pao, the worst I remember is when they served beer in plastic glasses)
Those are restaurants and coffee shops though. Not a thing especially against farang for sure
