passed by this place located @ ekamai, a huge place on the right side if entered from sukhumvit -ekamai....seems like it wuz happening..any info of what this place is? a lounge club or disco?

Sherbet is Gentlemen Club like Piano and many club in Ekkamai. It is a sister company of Piano Group. But have different concepts. They have eight band that will perform continously in the night. So quite loud for old man that like relax situation like in Piano. This club actually not finished yet according to the Piano management team, but already open due to get break even point as soon as possible, as they starting out of cashflow.

Piano is also going though renovation, as the decor is getting old and worn out. According to management, it should be totally redone in few month, we will see.

Went to check out Sherbet with my sales from Piano. Place is almost done and is actually really nice. A grander version of Santika from what I saw. Not a lot of girls yet and there will not be any dancers from what I was told. Did not see any knockouts there that will make me want to open a membership and I heard it's going to be a bit more expensive. More for the high rollers who wish a more posh surrounding. Band that nite was young and the Thai music they played was annoying. Bought a shot for my sales and a receptionist I knew from Piano. Got more annoyed when a sneaky sales I did not know ordered two more shots onto my bill without asking. 5 shots for 1800 Baht. Well, that's all Sherbet will ever get out of me. It's back to Piano where I'm more comfortable. And with the new renovated lounge, it's posh enough for me. Plus, the tall new singer is quite a hottie and what a voice. If you want a great selection of PRs, Carribean is a good choice...their PR selection is now better than the dancers they have in my opinion. However, English is very limited at Carribean so pick up sign language before you head there. Happy hunting...

Went here last night, was pretty good.
Definitely helps that we knew one of the girls who works as a back up singer. A few of the girls used to work at Orbit, and they are trying to incorporate more of the Orbit atmosphere there, i.e. get more dancers to dance when the band isn't playing. The band there is pretty good, plays 2 sets a night.
The PR was pretty good, there was one who after about 30 min went straight to the point and asked if I wanted a membership, and the other didn’t really care or pushing it. I always like to think I am not an easy sell, just easy, so I waited to see if I thought I would go back on my frequent trips.
If you are looking for a cheap budget I wouldn't go there. I think the girl drinks / cocktails were around 250 - 350 Bht. A bottle of Bacardi was over 3K Bht (had to ask for it because it wasn't on the standard list). So as BL and Baqwan were there also we went through 2 and a bit of a third, I opted for the 20K membership and had them throw in an extra bottle of Bacardi for a total of 11.
It wasn’t too hard to organize a few girls to hang out with us and we ended up having a good time.

Spend last night in sherbet. The place is still half empty but it does have some good points.
Pro
1) Very good interior fit out, a good set up with couch in the back section and Pool table in the back end. (This place is much smaller than santika)
2) Above average PR and dancer selection. There are quite a few transfer from piano and resort.
3) When we were there, the 2 guys went with me both got their PR back to the hotel even though they do not speak any thai.
4) Band was actually tolerable, not horrible as in other thai coyote clubs.
Cons
1) the few times I went, it was always half empty.
2) No coyote line-up as in caribbean or forte.

there used to be a coyote line-up until a couple of weeks ago, but the owner had this brillant tought to make the Sherbet more "hi class" and so he reduced the coyote's part in the show to just a single appearance per night....the sicko!

Help me out here.
I am an oily guy. See regulars and get great service.
Went to Sherbert last night with a friend and do not get what the attraction is. It was very posh and I liked the array of ladies and the music was good.
But I do not prefer vicarious thrills.
I like the real thing and I got the impression these ladies do not go out with farang.
Was I misled ?
Or they are available but it is harder to get them back to your place ?
Good girls all or some are available ?
What is the deal here ?

I know that at Champagne for example every girl is available at a high price, like 3-4K ST and 5-6K LT.
But not at Sherbert or Piano ?

Was there tonight (Friday @ midnight), was actually packed. Band is above average playing decent top 20 music. The DJ was decent also playing a variety of music.
Stayed open until about 2:30.
Girls have improved in quality, IMO.
I went there alone and met up with a Dancer I have known for a while from BR's place.
As mentioned before I probably had a good time because I knew someone working there and she organized some of her friends to come over and hang out.
Still I found no pressure to buy lady drinks, etc.
It's still no Orbit, but was a good time.
