Hi Don,
Ploy is acceptable, cheapish at 800 baht per night and centrally placed. The main downer with it is that breakfast is awful. On the up side it is guest friendly. My own limited expereince with P4P in Kanch is that if you are going to find any real hotties there it will be in the massage parlour attached to the River Kwai Hotel - and I would have to say that is not guaranteed. There are no gogos as such, but there are some bars there with ladies that can be bar fined. I've indulged only once due to an itch that absolutely had to be scratched - otherwise I would not bother. Although P4P is there Kanch is not the place to go for it. If you like Indian food I can recommend Ali Bongo's which is better than most of the Indian places I know on Sukhumvit Road. Hope this helps.
