and want to stay as close to night bazaar as possible
it will be good when I sneak off to club 20, forte, hehe
any suggestions?
a place where older folk would feel comfortable
and in the middle (or stone throw)
from the action (CLEAN action heheh)

spotted a place called Traveller's Inn on Loi Kroh road today, seems ok, if you're on a budget
otherwise Imperial Mae Ping hotel is quite nice, a 5 star near the Night Bizarre
you could even stay at Porn Ping hotel/tower
there's two discos location on premises at Porn Ping, and Bunny club is just around the corner

Mae ping isnt 5 star, infact its only 3 star.
And I couldnt in good faith recommend it at all LY (you havent stayed there have you)
Where as the Chiang Mai Plaza *is closer to the mark (and cheaper) and twice as good. (at about 2400 deluxe room from March late til october)
Its been renovated even more making it 4 stars plus half.
Chiang Mai has plently of places if your on the cheap or very cheap "baan Thai "appartments are very good value at 5400 baht a month!
That doesnt include about 1000 in utilities like water and electricity.
But it has a pool and has cable and aircon and is neat and serviced, and the building is new

A side trip to chiang Rai is recommended and a bus to Mai sai and on to the golden Triangle
Try (if in Chiang Mai ) some Uni students who freelance in the Butterfly bars Fridays and Saturday nights

actually, it's a 4 star according to THIS, so we were both wrong, big deal. It's still beside the night bazaar, and yes I have stayed there, back in March of 2005
I also walked by the place about 5 times in the last week
Uni students who freelance in the Butterfly bars Fridays and Saturday nights
if those are Uni students they started studying awfully late in life, cause the only thing left there now are a bunch of old lazy skanks 
ok, there were some younger ones, but they were skanky and lazy, and they're not even Northern gals, test their Kum Meuang and you'll know
and I was there on Friday and Saturday nights, but not for long
and back to Pachuko's orignal question, there's a single 5 star on Night Bazaar, and it's

They List in some as 4 star its officially # 3 star.
And I posted the butterfly bar Tip yesterday being Monday.
How could you have been there Saturday?
You didnt know which bar I was referring to?
It does have uni girls there only on Saturday or friday.
You are making things up pal, we both know that.
Qantas rate it 3 star as do 8 out of 10 agencies.
And it is inferior and more expensive than the much better chiang Mai plaza.
Can you even tell me where the butterfly Bar is?

Barra was the one who called it the Northern Frontier, LOL. You're right ab out there being Unigals everywhere. I recently got pointers from a few on where to go in this city, and some of them plan to accompany me. Not a one suggested Loi Kroh, Gumpang Din or Night BIZARRE

I usually stay at the Royal Princess, pretty close to the Night Bazaar...must say though looking at the photo's on LY's website link, the rooms in the pic do not look the same as the one I've stayed in....
Good breakfast as I remember as well
