Although I'm not much of a contributor these days, I read in the paper last week a brief story that the Dubai LE deported over 4,300 WG's in 2006.
Would bound to have an impact on the quality / quantity from a couple of years ago.
I wonder which destination is benefitting (from a punter's viewpoint of course!!)

I had the opportunity to be "out of town" last night, so I went to Rattlesnake to start the night of adventure. Bumped into an old fave, the yummy Goldie. I referred her to a forum pal who tried her several weeks ago, but he said she was not a looker, and that she had lost her golden ringlets. However, last night she still had her soft gold ringlets, which led me to ask if my friend had called her. She said yes, but with a cheeky laugh she said she sent her friend instead because she was busy. (Sorry, Forum Pal, I know her friend - she was there last night also. Like you said, she's nothing special. Not nice of Goldie).
Despite this, and the fact that Goldie had put on a few kilos since I last saw her, I was still tempted to take her, especially after a bit of a cuddle and playing with her soft hair in a dark corner upstairs (she's a real GFE). I asked if she had a room, but she said no - a friend was using it tonight, and she was staying with another friend. I considered paying for a room at Metropolitan Hotel, but changed my mind and decided to try for another girl.
I'd earlier seen Young Maria Callas, but she was gone. While I'd been speaking to Maria, I turned around and there was old fave Chinese/Korean Sisi, so I went looking for her (I felt like a good GFE, and Sisi had often invited me to her place. It was time to take up the offer).
After a drink and a chat, we hopped in a cab and went to her studio near Bur Juman. The studio was just big enough for four curtained-off beds and walking space. Very clean and nicely decorated, but I wasn't there for the decoration, so we played a couple of hours until about 5am.
Fortunately, none of her room-mates were home when we got there (or should that be "unfortunately"?  ), but I woke up surrounded by four pretty Chinese girls. Had a cup of tea, showered and went on my way. 500DH for a good night of romping and a comfy bed snuggled up with a hot girl. Not too bad.

Yes, the prices have gone up in Dubai, as the economy has changed here in all aspects. But good deals are still to be found.
By the end of last night at Rattler (I just cannot get past that place), I spotted a cute Cambodian-looking girl. Good attitude also. Agreed on 300DH. My pal was trying for a top-quality new CIS girl (she looked very young, but her passport said 21 - who knows?) Only in town two weeks and very cute. She was the star of the night, with many guys after her, so I told my pal to forget it. He took up my challenge, and after speaking and joking in fluent Russian to her for 10 minutes (and offering 700DH), we were all in a cab headed for Cambodia-Girl's apartment.
This place was a bit too much. Unlike Sisi's place the night beofre, this was a dorm - a studio divided into 10 curtained-off bedspaces (five on either side of the narrow walking aisle).
Seeing the room, we wanted to find a hotel instead, but it was too late, so we hopped into the beds and did what humans are pre-programmed to do. We could hear the slurps and slaps and grunts coming from other beds, and I started laughing half-way through sex when someone started snoring noisily. It was putting me off. Cambodia Girl was good in bed, and took the eventual rough-riding with muffled grunting squealing and squirming appropriate to the non-private social context.

Rattlesnake was the best I'd seen it for ages - some extremely stunning CIS blondes and brunettesaround 11pm. I left it too late to try one, as they were taken very quickly.
I had earlier tried for a not-too-bad Indian looking Uzbeki girl, but she had no room available. She mentioned a 400/night hotel in Bur Dubai (Dar Al Sondos from memory, but I wan't interested).
Incidentally, around 2am I went to reception to see if they had a double room available, but they said they only had a luxury suite (two adjoinging suites) for 2800DH. I laughed and said "For a week maybe", and left.

was in jockeys the other evening. Used to be my favourite place to start the evening a few years ago but havent been for many many months.
I still think its a great place if ure not up for alate night. Lots of CIS lookers between 7 to 9 and then they start heading out to more regular haunts.
Didnt pull or even chat with any of the ladies. I realy popped in just for a couple of drinks before heading home to the ball and chain. Saw some new faces. But then again, I havent been out on the town for a few moons.
Will definetly hit it again when I get the chance.

Your not kidding! As I have just got back, last night Miss DJ and I went for a bite to eat and a drink in Scarletts. They have hiked the beer prices, now it's 28 AED for a pint, It wasn't that long ago it was 24. Lunchtime today I found Burger King had increased their prices by just over 10%.

I was quite pleased with the quality across the board, quite a few new CIS - bit on the young side and looking almost untouched -that soon will change.
Imperial 10-12
Ouch - havent been there in a while but the quality was terrible. I didnt see one that I would consider pulling.
York 12 -12:15
Walked in - locked into a hot PRC -walked out 10 minutes later. Good amount of PRC.
Any other places like Jockys here?
I prefer heading out early - not into crowds, rather hook up -have dinner and keepout of the bar and looking for something better till 3am

Friday Night.
Normally Friday is date night with my regular, but this week I was free.
Music Room – Majestic Hotel 9:15 to 10:00.
As usual, no overt P4P in this “civilian” bar, but there were a couple of Russians I have seen in Jockey’s in there alone and probably up for it. The Philippine band Rock Spiders were on first and we stayed for their first set. The girl singers had nice outfits, tartan mini skirts and thigh high boots which added to the entertainment value. I would only consider one to be a real looker though. It was a pleasant way to start the evening and the 17 AED happy hour beers are good value.
Seaview 10:15 – End of Second set.
The band was in good form and having a bit of a Pink Floyd night. Friday is certainly a better night to be out than Thursday. The place was busy without being overcrowded. WG, I thought were a bit sparse. Initially it was 90% PRC, with PI, Afros and ‘Stanis arriving later.
I spotted one PRC with a “Cyclone Rack” and initially thought her to be one of 11Bravo’s girls I was mistaken as she has only been here a week, very little English and shorter. A few others stopped by for an interview but I wasn’t buying.
The PI girls are getting more brazen, one actually flashed me an unsolicited smile, which is as close as I have seen them come to direct marketing, they also seem to be splitting up and moving about more.
There were a couple of attractive ‘Stanis, including a (IMHO) 9 who would not budge below 1000 AED a few months back.
My friend pulled a cute PRC, and in the process got a tirade of abuse from another PRC, obviously some history there, and not a random occurrence. I know he has found out the efficiency of the CIA recently!

The only other places I know for early evening are TGIT and the small bar in the Imperial, the other end of the building from the main club, but I have not been to either for a long time. The Victory in the Adriral Plaza is apparent closed now.

Dry Night
I have a seen a notice displayed at one bar saying next Friday (30 March) will be a dry day on account of the Profit's Birthday.
The Dry period will start at 16:00 on Friday and last until Sunset on Saturday.
You may wish to double check this. It's unusual to see it displayed this far in advance!

Thats correct - it is normal for the municipality to advise all hotels in advance. What is unusual is the posting of it in the bars in advance - maybe people are finally thinking about the customer!
