A few regular visitors are in town at the moment, including Junior Punter who I originally met last year. Last time I saw him was 20 minutes ago in Rattlesnake. I introduced him to the gorgoeus and GFE Young Maria Callas (who was already taken for the night, but he managed to make a deal for later in the week).
One minute JP's telling me he won't be taking a girl tonight, the next minute he's negotiating with two girls for a threesome. Dubai does that to you. I had to leave (I need my beauty sleep for work tomorrow), but I look forward to your reports, JP.

I would add a couple more characteristics from my 6 mongering years:
(a) Has own apartment or no more than one room-mate of her own choosing, usually sleeping in a separate bedroom
(b) Does not talk on her mobile phone before and after....
(c) Is willing to relax, enjoy a drink, get "in the mood", and then stay the night, all without (b)
Unfortunately, at the Regal, there was a period about a year ago (perhaps still true now) where many of the more attractive CIS gals were very stand-offish (especially the ones gathered at tables in front of the main bar along the dance floor), and it became apparent their "dates" were Russian or Arabic - no Westerners wanted.......and there were several of the younger gals literally getting shoved into waiting Camaros and Accords with tinted windows after the 3 am closing time customer dump in front of the hotel. I am not sure if those were their "managers" or waiting customers. I used to be absolutely amazed at how no one seemed to up their sales pitches at 2:45 am....Somehow I think independent gals would be doing just that, but the seemingly very young CIS gals at Regal were probably getting their bookings arranged in advance by their Mamasans or Papasans.
That said, I quickly realized I found myself having better luck being next to the bar or near the entrance and away from the dance floor, where I could actually talk to the women - which is specifically where the petite Russian gal I enjoyed several times in December used to hang out - and exhibited all the traits of independence we have all shared above. That said, she used to dread the trips every 90 days to Kish and then back to renew her visa. "Is so boring, but is cheaper than Doha."
Still going thru my WG withdrawal as I welcome baseball season back here in DC, to the point where I've started reminiscing about Seaview in my Myspace blog and seeking "friends" who resemble my DXB conquests. I'm trying hard to keep from self-incriminating myself though, to the friends or family coming across the site. They used to think I would sit around every night either working, eating with colleagues, drinking in pubs with old British guys with red noses or doing Shisha. And I will keep it that way. For now.

A lot of PRC share very crowded apartments, but in my experience this does not necessarily mean they are controlled by a pimp (lets call a spade a spade). I have known girls freely move from one place to another because they get a lower rent, more space, or don't get on with some one etc. There is usually someone in charge, but this normally involves ensuring people are doing their fair share of the housework and do not cause disruption. They do not interfere with the business.
Sometimes there will be a “landlord” who rents spaces, their profit will solely be based on the agreed rent. Other times it will be a group of girls banding together.
I have even been invited to dinner in some of these shared accommodations. Amazing how such a meal can be cooked on a single hotplate and how they can organize enough space in such an appartment
This is not to say that the type of problem you allude to does not exist. I, for one, would be very wary of in-call only establishments.

Yes and No - Most girls like to let some one else know where they are going, so the call may or may not be to a pimp. The PRC’s operate an informal mutual support network (AKA the C.I.A). So that call in Mandarin may be the girl you took last week warning her that you snore! I am sure the same will be the case with other nationalities.
Friends will be worried if she doesn’t come home as expected so, as in the case of one of my friends recent pulls, when she decided to stay all weekend, it’s only reasonable she will be letting someone know what’s happening.

RW: Glad to see you are still contributing to this thread. Interesting points, but, like BC, I will politely propose alternate scenarios, at least for the PRC's (my LIMITED experiences with CIS also match).
My experience parallels BC's. A number of independents sleep barracks style:- to save money
- newly arrived and a friend is staying there
- convenient to office
- etc.
And as BC says, there is usually a house boss, but only maintains order in the house (imposes quiet hours, meal hours, adjudicates disputes, etc.) - what the girls do outside is their own business (no pun intended). Who she goes with, what she charges, IF she goes to work - all up to her. Boss is either the actual renter, or his representative. As most girls are on visitor's visas, difficult for them to rent on their own. But they are free to move anytime they like. The "boss" might keep her passport, but that is only a courtesy, and she can get it back anytime.
Likewise, the phone calls "before and after" are checkins - that she's safe. I've had a LT girl take calls from her friends reporting they are just leaving the bar with a customer from xyz. Once at your place, she calls to say it's OK (there are no customer friends waiting for her arrival...) And if she's comfortable and sleeps in, her friends will be calling to check on her status... Or she's saying she's on her way home.
I have had to sweat a bit when a LT's sister disappeared from a bar without checking in... Miss LT was QUITE concerned until she could contact her sister to make sure she's OK. (You know how dxb CAN be, if a girl's not careful in her customer selection).
Even my LT Miss T Kirgie (independent) shared a SMALL studio apartment with 3 other girls. Usually, at least one, if not all, would be sleeping "out", as there was only a queen bed (which FILLED the apt). If all were home, there was a twin mattress they would throw on the floor.
Example: my LONG TIME Miss Thursday shared her room with 3 other girls. But that was her own choosing, and she was free to leave at any time. There was a house boss, but he was as mentioned above. She would take calls from friends "checking in", and if she was particularly late arriving home, her friends would still check on where she was. If going from my place to another "date", she would let her roommates know. She was free to run her business as she liked, the only obligation was to pay the monthly rent.
When she got busted and thrown in jail, her roommates had her bags packed, delivering the bags, her passport, and ticket home to the jail within 48 hours.
MY experience with just about EVERY girl I've pulled is the same. Any "I have to check" responses when I am negotiating in the bar and I move on.

While we are on the subject of pimps and madams I found this disturbing.
A friend of mine was in Jockey’s recently and fell into conversation with an African girl. Olga, the “Fat Controller” apparent came over and launched into the African saying she could not talk to him without her permission. My friend intervened and said he would talk to whom he wanted when he wanted, but the girl was intimidated and moved away.
I have seen her have a go at a PRC before, but the PRC very firmly stood her ground, then security turned up. 11Bravo intervened and explained a few things to security. The situation seem to be resolved but I never saw the girl in Jockey's again.
Maybe it’s territorial disputes but I for one do not want to see the Russian Mafiosi muscling in on other nationalities.
Anybody else seen this sort of thing?

Still some repercussions from this event. Last night at Seaview the security guard passed by my date and said CID were there. I couldn't pick any obvious looking CID out of the crowd. On departure was a little bit concerned and asked the doorman, "Mr. House". He said they had been there, but it was for something else.
Not really sure what to make of it. I'd hate to see Seaview get onto the list of places where CID turn up regularly and hassle the girls. That did not appear to be the case either on the night of the fight, or last night.
The band was in good form and it was a reasonable crowd. Certainly some new PRC faces and a fair number of the regular PRC contingent. 11b's Ms. Thursday was looking nice as well as Ms. Phone in the same shorts and high boots as BC saw. Ms. CC was there and looking good.
I've been by Rattlesnake and Imperial in the last month and they just don't hold a candle to Seaview for total entertainment value. Although if I was ever inclined to try an African I think I may have head to the Rattler for another look. There were some very nice ones there on my last visit.
