Thursday Night:
Rattlesnake: 11:30pm
Finally made it there - didnt realize how far it is from Diera but worth the trip. Place was beyond packed as expected for a Thursday night - stayed for two drinks couldnt handle manuevering through the crowd. Some nice looking PRC and CIS - very aggressive decided to pass and see what was happening in Bur Dubai.

Packed - again as expected, some very nice looking Africans -model quality - they seem to follow the same MO - telling you all the things that they are going to do to you - honestly was looking for a more subdued experience so I decided to concentrate on a nationality I have yet to experirnce - zeroed in a an older blondish wg from Turkey. Politely offered a drink - she accepted - exchanged pleasantries - offered 500K st and she accepted. Got more than I bargained for -she was wearing lots of layers so it was potluck on what was underneath - I picked her for 2 reasons -luscious lips and skyscraper patent leather heels  We got back to my place she immediately said shower - I opened up a bottle of White as she bathed - as I get out of the shower she is on my bed with her heels on spread eagled with the bottle of wine in her hands - eureka.
Needless to say I was very pleased - big mistake was not getting her mobile.

Seaview Friday Night Midnight to 2 AM.
(or saturday morning if you want to be Pedantic)
The place was crowded with the appearance of a poor M/F ratio, but as usual many of the men were there for the band and a beer so there many girls were still on the shelf when I left. It had more of a weekend feel and it looks like Dubai is adjusting to the new week end.
There were a lot of new PRC faces since my last visit, some of the best ones were busy with customers but there were several I would have been happy to walk out with.
There was a smattering of CIS and Stanis One very attractive Kyrgyz seemed to be busy with a guy for a long time but it seems her deal fell through. I will have to get a price check one evening. Later two fit Russian blonds were sitting by the bar, which is not a common occurrence in the Seaview (or do I usually leave too early?)
There were the usual Africans and the Madagascar Katoy.
I think I spotted a couple of PI girls, but they seemed to disappear.
It was a fun night out, I was not looking to pull but two or three of the new PRC girls, plus the Kyrgyz would have been very tempting.

Just came out of the sexual health clinic for my results after having the full array of tests done last week. I expected to have something, after the nurse last week told me there was "a bit of floating matter" in my urine sample, which could mean chlamydia. While I always use condoms, I'm still at risk for some nasties, as I usually give oral without protection. So I braced myself for the results, waiting for the bad news. Unbelievably - all clear. Nothing. Zilch. Pure as a baby.
The Indian nurse (in traditionall sari - yum!) had a nice bedside manner. She'd been asked by another nurse to check my balls, as they appeared larger than they should be, and a second opinion was needed. Who am I to complain? I managed to get through the inspection without an erection. Must be something about the rubber gloves. She gave me the all-clear on my tests, and after much ball-squeezing she was satisfied my balls were just fine also, so I was free to go.
Elated, I skipped out of the clinic, almost into the path of a speeding bus. Now that would be ironic.

Well, I'm flying into BKK tomorrow for two nights, then back home to Dubai, where I have a super-buxom internet date (half-Filipina/Half-Indian) waiting to meet for some hot adventures. Not a stunner, but she seems ready and willing. (I've almost given up on the French Girl, as she's leaving Dubai in two weeks). Life is tough sometimes.

Cause and Effect
Somewhere else there was a post about Cyclone girls now appearing more and more in other venues (in this case, Seaview). I don't question the observation (have seen it myself), but do question the reason:

Now I ask, are we witnessing the obvious, a meltdown of Cyclone? Has the practice of charging high entrance and drinks fees and giving nothing in return finally come round to bite them in the arse, ie. have the punters drifted away, causing the girls to move on in their never ending search of reasonable business?
Correct on effect, wrong on cause, IMHO.
- Case 1: Cyclone girl I pulled from Rattlesnake 2 weeks ago had mentioned she was avoiding Cyclone, "Too many problems with police; catch too many girls."
- Case 2: Another Cyclone girl I was talking to at Rattlesnake last week had been explaining why she was at the 'Snake: checking out alternative offices given the same "Too many problems with police at Cyclone."
- Case 3: Given her imminent departure for Chinese New Year, had Spinner over on Friday. I've known her since she got here. She had been a Miss Thursday for awhile middle of last year, until she found her true market value, moved to Cyclone, and could only look back on weekdays. She was saying she had not been to the Cyclone office for a month, "Too many CID, not police, CID. Catch many lady." [Note: CID are plainclothes; police are in uniform]. Not like the US where they have to actually catch the girl soliciting. Here, she can be pulled over just walking out of the club, either with a customer, or even unaccompanied. Visa problem: gone for sure. Visa in order: maybe can pass, maybe not. So she had been staying home, only outcalls from known customers/regulars.
Spinner also said that she had not planned to go home for New Year's, but given the current environment, had done a risk assessment/cost benefit analysis, and decided to take a vacation.
- Case 4: Miss BBC had reported earlier in the week that she was back in country from a month's haitus to a neighboring one. Given she was back, had her over for an afternoon's entertainment. Certainly a far cry from 50/50's criteria in both age and size, but any woman who can produce 3 shots in 2.5 hours from me, sans chemicals, has to be doing SOMETHING right.
She was saying her roommate, a longtime Cyclone regular, had sat out the last month at home. "Too much police; catch too many lady." Same story as Spinner from an independent source. Now that BBC was back, her roommate was asking BBC to take her to York, even if it meant a pay cut. I'm thinking YORK!?!?! YORK!?!? Decimated York? Just goes to show the cyclical nature of LE's attention, and I had heard from Rogue5 that York was picking up again.
So I'll submit that the cause of the Cyclone scattering is the pressure applied by LE, not by punters. Given that an LE stop can be career ending, I don't find it surprising that Cyclonettes are moving elsewhere until the temperature cools.
Besides its known status (need to make a quota of wg detentions, no better place to find), I wonder if some of LE's attention at Cyclone is due to the earlier reports of africans soliciting business outside the club near closing time. Might be close to 3am, few civilians around (though there are some legit entertainment complexes near Cyclone), but any non-discreet action is sure to draw the ire of LE. Inside clubs, with security checks, no hidden cameras, only cellphone ones, but outside... The one thing dxb wants to avoid AT ALL COSTS is bad publicity.
But Cyclone is Cylone. That businessman on an expense account, that contractor back from Iraq... they won't bat an eye at the Cyclone prices. Cyclone is an institution; been so for a long time; there are reasons why. When Cyclone closes, I'll know P4P is finished in dxb.

I keep hearing Cyclone is going down - if nothing else, that and all other one and two-story buildings in that area are all targets as developers hungrily eye more room for overpriced mega-flats and other high-end developments, especially with that area being redefined as "Healthcare City".
While UNESCO may be unable to save Cyclone, undoubtedly the more upscale P4P scene will have its venues. At the very least, P4P will find itself in any number of newer discos that are past their "What's On" and "Time Out Dubai" use-by dates (thanks to the trendy writers and the high-end British and Lebanese partiers they cater to moving on to other places).
Given P4P generates a fairly significant amount of revenue, which undoubtedly ends up in the pockets of certain VIP's, I doubt P4P will be "finished".
All I ask is the WG scene holds out for another 12 days or so., for I am making my LAST trip to Dubai next week after 6 years, 500k air miles and some 40-odd trips to the sandlands. Looks like I might have maybe 1 or 2 nights to partake in my pleasure before I go back home to the states for the last time, where I will be starting a new job which will keep me strictly in the US and on the straight and narrow in Washington, home of overeducated, undersexed women with sensible shoes...... : (
