Damn that band has power.....I am scrolling through the posts here and regret the apparent passing of the Cyclone. Also, many of you may not know but Dubai was featured live about 2 weeks ago on the Today show, the big morning show in the US, as part of the main host's annual "Where in the World is Matt Lauer?" gig. He visits a place for a few hours and jumps on the plane to another mystery destination. His feature included a good view of what's going on (good and bad), a few whirlwind scenes of nightlife and some guy saying "what happens in Dubai....stays in Dubai."
So hopefully the elders recognize DXB ain't DXB without P4P.......

The answer was in 11Bravos reply - A link that takes you dierctly to a comprehensive list of hotels and their last reported GF status. Given the time and effort 11B spent collating this list from many field reports both here and in the ISG it's not surprising he gets irratated  when people don't look.
The majority of regular posters here are residents so do not have much first hand experience of hotels. But a long term lurker like aquaaerobic  will / should already know that the 4Pts Sheraton seems to be the most favoured, both for location (walking distance of York, Rocafellas, Imperial, Jockeys - < 10 AED taxi ride to Seaview, about 20 AED to the Rattlesnake) and its GF status.

It is like you guys have run out of spoons for feeding the unread.
Just fell in love, smoking young PRC who turns out to be from Bishkek, all I can say is, damned good thing BC was not there, he is too fast for me This number is at the top of the to do list.
Man I hate it when work interferes with playtime.
Rumours of the Cyclone being open would seem to be a red herring. Closed at 11:45 tonight, just the two restaurants open, and a very forlorn looking, tightly closed Cyclone entry gate. End of an era?
