So I see.....never worth that money....Fulham did well to push the price up so high.

Some papers are reporting a bid from Fulham for Robbie Keane but that seems unlikely. Fulham are £10million better off but can they find some new players ? Then they will have to integrate the new players into their team. I suspect they will slip down the table and the fourth place (Champions League) is likely to go to Newcastle.

Robbie Keane won't get 25 goals a season for anyone.....He'll play well with people but he's not he focal point. Bad move for Fulham, but he won't be going anywhere anyway.

I don't think there are many successful strikers about.I expect Al Fayed will just pocket the £10 mil? I wonder where Man City would be without Anelka's goals ?

Robbie Keane, Mr. somersault? Nah. No investment value there.

Personally I like Arsenals approach, which I know is partially determined by their own cash shortfall. But they go with the same group game after game and they work as a unit better than any team, including Man U.

I can imagine Coleman coming home to his house the night that deal was done and slumping on his sofa, and saying 'f_ck' 1,000 times.

Investor power is forming at Man U., and I think the long knives are being sharpened for Ferguson. Gone with 2 years.

Ferguson can manage Liverpool any time he likes ! He is a winner ! He was at Aberdeen, and he is at Man Utd ! Can't say I like the bloke much but he is good and that is what matters! Shrewd as f_ck ! A real canny Scot!A master tactician !

I would think England,Chelsea, Barcelona and Newcastle would race to sign his services ?

Newcastle ?

"Newcastle Fletcher is not in Scotland!"
Dangerously close Mr Mackay, dangerously close!"

Gaffer Herm...No way, he has major problems re: his son, his heart, his horse, his age, his directors, his whole view of his own self importance. And I think Saha is the wrong choice.

Of course coming from me, a guy willing to open up a Chelsea gear shop on Suk., what can you believe.

You could be right but he seems made of granite (nice line in purple noses?)

A Chelsea mate said there were two Chelsea fanatics that run a bar in Pattaya ('Dogs Bollocks' or something like that?) reckoned they are a bit wild though ?

the notorious Bar run by ex members of the infamous Chelsea Headhunters 'Hooligan' gang.

i don't know if Saha is a good buy or not, where will they play him in the team?
MU rarely play 4-4-2 and it might mean him playing in Scholes' place, just behind RVN.
but Scholes is also good at tracking back and I cannot see Saha doing that.
but RVN might get a rest, not that he wants it.
i think MU got him for a good price after Fulham insisting he wouldn't be leaving for less than 15 Million.

Fergie won't last long I think if the Irish Twosome launch a bid for the Club now that they have 25% of the shares.
Fergie has built an empire with his skill, tenacity and sheer 'f_ck the rest of you' over the years and I just do not who could replace him.
lets hope Keano gets his coaching badge soon and gets a job on the Management Team.
the sort of man I would love to see in the position.

i see Fulham have signed Ian Pearce from West Ham in exchange for Andy Melville.
a very different type of striker compared to Saha and I think this Month will begin the freefall of Fulham.

I thought Ian Pearce was a centre half....

They've signed Brian McBride the USA striker today.
