Pearce is like Chris Sutton,can play in either position.
but I was surprised Fulham bought him when he is known more as a defender.

Better players with poor playing attitudes can sometimes be replaced with average players with great playing attitudes.
If you look solely at goal difference, well into negative double figures at Leeds, you can see that they do not belong in the top division. Leeds, -25 and Wolves, -26 are radically out of kilter with the next set of teams in negative single digits.
That cold stat is so black and white that those two teams cannot manage to offer any kind of steady oppposition to the rest of the premier bunch.
Birm. City has the same number of goals, 19 for, as the bottom two but is still only -6 in g.d. And higher up the table as a result.
To offer player rationalizations at this point is difficult because the
two teams are not really at the same league statistically as the rest of the premier.
In order to stay up in the league, Leeds would have to cut their goal difference by about 60 to 70 % just to be reasonably competitive.
UKYorkie, can they do that?

Things don't look good for Leeds as the players have refused the wage deferal. What happened to the Sheik ali bin whatever ? I can't help but wonder whether Leeds are not the only team in the sh_t?
Fastmover your comments about negative goals is well put. You should be on TV ! Makes more sense than some of the highly paid pundits ?

'Headhunters' ! Yugh Nazis ! They should wear brown or black shirts ! How on earth where 'they' let into LOS to run a bar ? Lets hope they make a bad account of themselves and get thrown out. I heard they were having a mega punch-up outside the Marina disco with a LOT of Arabs. Headbutting them whacking them, fighting back-to-back. Then a car came along and whisked them away. From what I know about Arabs they still practice 'an eye for an eye'. The Arabs will be back for 'Payback time !'
