No worries – I myself am married with children, and the children part certainly make it all worth while.
I have only been stumbling my way around BKK for about a year now, but I have been drinking my way thru Asia for over seven years now. I can certainly see your point in regard to the liver issue. I myself significantly reduced my intake about two years ago.
As for the getting shot bit – I guess as long as I remain in LOS that is always a possibility. Of course my job does not require me to place myself in the middle of other peoples dirty laundry like yours did, so the crowd that I hang around may not be quite as hazardous to my health. Then again I have been known to be in the company of some other BTF posters and thereby might just be setting myself up for health problems in the long term.

My friend who is certainly not a "dumb ass" - has everything most of us wants: money, good business and quite a few braincells. Still - after I invited him to come see me earlier this year - has managed to get into ALL sorts of horrific problems with this bitch he ran into! Using the B-word is nothing I hardly ever do - but this "woman" is just a trainwreck.
I told him the top 10-list of what NOT to do or run into when taking him for his first tour around BKK "establisments". What does he do almost immediately?? Well you guessed. Hooked up with this BG who to her credit I must say is one of the most effective ATM-pullers I have ever seen!
The whole realityshow with all ingredients then unfold! I soon saw on her behaviour that she used a lot of yabba. And she was never nice. Totally crazy an without selfbehaviour and drained my buddy on money. And he right off started to get her a big condo - sent tons of money each month - that finished in 3 days and then wanted more with new lies about where they had gone.
Trying to talk some sense into his lost head was useless. So I tried to wait it out. TPE said that he was well on his way to a major traincrash -- how true how true.
Finally he is beginning to sober up - after having spent around 600.000 bath on this bitch since march! He sees another dame who this time is nice and fun. The way it should be.
So what happens? Crazy bitch starts to stalk my buddy and has friends all over the place who constantly reports where he and new gf are! The other night it happened: booted bitch runs in to the poolbar where they are and attacks them! Crazy from drink and yabba she is like a f----g wild tiger and it takes 4 guys to try and hold her. BUT first she bites my friends chest and hand so bad they bleed a lot and need hospital and several stitches! Wounds look not nice at all.
Maybe that woke him up a bit?! Well yes and no. He STILL says he "cares for her" and she continues to call 30 times a day to try and get him back. He is a friendly type and despite my constant advice to tell her to f*** OFF! he still talks with her and again gave her some money - as a final "farewell".
This is doing my head in as well - because it seems that so many guys that are here for their first times just dont get the grips of things! How can a normally smart and grown up man be so damn STUPID!?
I dont think bad of the girls working what they do. I am a lot in Issan and know their background. But this is a fantasy land and nothing is what it seems to be. My friend will realise that someday as he is now coming to live here more and more. But some just have to learn it the HARD way!
In this case TPE has been very helpful and also helped ME to talk some sense into buddys head!
Oh BTW: latest in this show: Buddys now hopefully ex-bitch now tried a new approach.... called ME in the mid of night and said she was 2 month pregnant with his offspring! How sweet!

I do not think that anyone here - except TPE - knows who he is and I have not given any details to identify - au contraire! However it is info that can be useful for people in problems or way into it! He does not care I inform bros on this forum. And I have in fact tried to get him to read this site in order to "learn from the others". However he is not interested in sitting to much in front of the screen.
And again - I dont think you or anyone will ever find out who he is - just "buddy"!
Are you equally concerned about the ladies constantly talked about here? Just a thought......

I think the problem for guys who sometimes fall for the most extorting TG, is not as simple as 'dick for brains'...
Obviously they get 'something' out of the TGs sometimes terrible behaviour, what this may be, we will most likely never understand as the depths and twists of the human psyche are fathomless and unpredictable.
The solution though is easy, it is a taboo to fall for them!
(solution describes the rule, not the exception that may be applied only to the rarest of TGs and should be executed only by the most experienced P4P veterans)

There's a big difference between IQ and EQ (Emotional Maturity). Seems your buddy lacks in EQ, big time.

Seems he has the emotional maturity of a 12 year old - which kinda *DOES* make him adumbass, or at the very least, a VERY emotionally lonely kind of guy.
Glad that with the help of TPE, who's a good guy, you were able to talk some sense into him, though I am quite confident that it won't hold, and that the saga is far from over.
