Last time I checked, Man U is just one football club.
Whatever happens to it will not effect the progress
of football one little bit.
On the other hand, how you can give ANY ban to someone
who misses a drug test is beyond me.
Would anyone in private life accept restrictions on their working life if they 'skipped out' on a police sobriety test while driving on their way home?
"Well sir, you missed your test so unfortunately no
driving or working for 8 months."
Say what!?
Give the player a penalty of having to take a drug test after EVERY game he plays for eight months. That's shame enough.

don't get me started on the Ferdinand affair,he was made an example of because of his high profile.
there are other examples where the players were not punished as much when they WERE found GUILTY of taking drugs.

Making an example of a high profile player just about sums it up. The same incident happened to I think it was a fairly non-discript Man City player and I think he just got a fine.
Too much money now, too much politics.
Would be nice just to have football?
