I didn't say analizing yourself is easy - far from it. The ability to delude yourself invariably proves stronger than the desire to seek truth in oneself - hence, self-analysis *is* bunk, unless you start out with the awareness and premise that you will want to lie to yourself, first and foremost.
Being able to analize *others* is eminently easy, though, as I stated.

I am pleased yet again through this additional thread to learn how TPE provides such an invaluable service. He seems quite a guy and one whom brothers can depend on fully in circumstances in which they feel out of their depth, as we all do, or have done at times.
As for putting guys down or decrying attempts to question oneself or others, I see no rhyme nor reason to it.
IBFarang's advice to have someone taken out, though felt as a path to go down, at the height of distorted reactions to an outburst, is ill-advised.
Knowing the machinations of any underworld that you are not a part of, and have no handle on,but tempted to tap into it temporarily, is no solution, and in fact can possibly push you into an even worse scenario ; for one, it can give a group of the underworld a leverage on you at any future date or more immmediately, can facilitate them with the opportunity, since they are there to make money, to approach your target and proposition them with regard to how much they would pay to take you out.
Not the way to go. Think about all possible repercussions and maybe your initial reaction,thought
and intention will be dashed if you consider the cost to you, quite apart from any moral issue that may haunt you for the rest of your life. Surely, not all board members are hardened criminals, surrounded by body-guards. I know for a fact that we, the majority, are not.
Returning to the simple dissolution of a relationship, whether the girl is crazed or not, if you have secured another relationship, any instance of providing money either as a 'last' gift, because you care for the girl even now, or as a 'last' pay-off, will be seen by the ex-girl-friend as an indication that you will be soft to touch for money at any time in the future. You are therefore lining yourself up for years of being bothered by pleas for money.
Once the break happens, or the relationship begins to fall apart, whether you have another or not, end the last one there, otherwise you will never hear the end of it.
These relationships are not unlike your relationships in your home-country in this respect. The partner being divorced wil try to milk you for all you have and more and more, some wishing to utterly destroy you, as the hurt and spurned human heart knows no limit to gain 'satisfaction', whether right or wrong.
Isn't there an old saying which goes along the lines of....
........
'Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned.'
So, make the cut, and make it clean.

I just questioned the level of your respect for your friend. If you do not care why should I.
And I think you knew other posters would say bad things about his woman from the language you used. (Note that I said nothing negative about her or him, only you).
One member even suggested that she be murdered, which I deplored.
I will suggest that opening someones elses private live is NOT what BTF is about. In fact there are rules against that.
What you expose about your OWN personal life is up to you. That IS what the BTF is about.
