just watched the Final of the Copa Del Ray from Barcalona between Real Madrid and Real Zaragoza.
if you do not want to know the result...LOOK AWAY NOW.
great game,2-2 after 90 Mins and then RZ get the winning goal in E/T.
2 exquisite free-kicks from Beckham and Carlos resulted in the RM goals,both just about unstoppable.
poor defensive play by RM let in RZ for their goals.
Zidane had 2 great chances but goalkeeper made 2 incredible saves.
18 bookings and a player from each team sent off....exciting stuff to watch.
good to see RZ qualify for UEFA Cup next season in their own right by winning.
they would have qualified even if they lost as RM will be in the CL.

Watched it also. Exciting game. The Zaragossa defenders seemed determined to concede free kicks in the danger areas to Beckham and Carlos. In general it was staggering the amount of mindless tackles that flew in from both sides.

Real Madrid is an interesting case. All great teams are built from the back? Madrid's defence is OK but not the greatest. It is their weak spot, their Achilles heal, in the same fashion as Man Utd. Because of this results from both these teams are likely to be erratic. Man Utd are really missing Rio Ferdinand.
