i first saw Utd in 1963 and the 70's and 80's were a barren period for the team.
i remember being baited at school for Years because I supported Utd and they won the odd trophy now and then.
but I stuck with them and the 90's have been a good period for the Club.
things do turn themselves around over a period of time and one Team will dominate for a number of Years.
think Leeds in the 70's and Liverpool in the 80's.
but it takes a number of Years to get a team spirit and bonding going and while a lot of the Arsenal players have been together for a number of Years,their success has been limited really,compared to Utd's.
maybe their time has come in the next few Years,but no-one knows.
maybe their team will be broken up a little in the summer if the big teams in Europe offer the obscene money which is being rumoured.
but one thing I do predict is that 50% of the Chelsea players at the Club now will be gone within 1 Year.
the Russian wants success yesterday and he will get rid of the manager and players in the summer with a huge loss of money because he is not satisfied.
but being a non football fan he has no idea that football is different to his normal business deals.
but next season is another matter and we shall see what happens.....
