That just shows how unprofessional Man Utd are at the moment. Their Premier League is far from over, 2nd place gets them automatic Qualification for the Champions League, and Ferguson whining on about how their players get treated worse....they get treated that way because they behave in a way that gets them on charges.

no matter where they finish they will be in the Group Stages of next Season's CL.
if they get 2nd then all good and well,but not a disaster if they come 3rd.
also the team selection was crap and again Ferguson showed his contempt for the lower positioned Teams.
i'm pleased for Pompey,i live in the City and want them to stay up.
their win was great for them and has not harmed MU that much at the moment.
still another Month for things to chop and change.
things will be back in the mixer at both ends of the League if Leeds beat Pompey and MU beat Chelsea.

i think that statement is taking things too far.
in a way the PL is like Scotland when it is dominated by Arsenal and Man Utd most Seasons.
each Season a Team like Chelsea or Newcastle come along and have a good Season.
but they have to win things Year after Year to be considered a good Team.
the odd FA Cup is not good enough and in Newcastles case even worse.
suppossed to be a leading light in English Football but nothing won since 1969.......

Right on Nokna....a good team should have a life of, say at least 4 or 5 highly competetive seasons. A team like Chelsea is just a pretender at this point.
However on the way down, a team like Man U, never sees it until it's too late. Like an old whore passing the newest bright young thing on the street,
they die hard.
Rouge and a smear of lipstick ain't gonna make it this time.

I bet a few Singhas were downed after Chelsea lost last night ? You never know with Chelsea they could blast Monaco 5-0 ? But I don't think so. My neighbour kept reminding me about the match. He looked confident, for some reason I wasn't. Ever since Chelsea beat The Arsenal they have been firing blanks. Look at the scores. Then Ranieri seemed to follow the self fulfilling prophecy of the 'Tinkerman' and ended up with Fred Karno's Circus. Veron has been out of it for far too long to make any kind of impact.
I wanted Chelsea to win and feel disappointed. = I get disappointment enough from my own team.
Got a good manager then your are lucky?
