IF Leeds go down and not yet done and dusted they will certainly have a fresh team.
they have too many players earning big bucks and they are gonna have to trim that wage bill big time.
what odds Smith,Viduka and Robinson going?...
and I also see a clearout going on at Chelsea in the summer.
too many players,too many underachivers and they will be weeded out.
they've had a good season which surprised me considering all the tinkering with the team.
Raneiri will be out and what players will a new Manager want to buy or sell?
i know if I was appointed Manager tomorrow (yes,yes I know,100% unlikely) I can think of 10 players I would not want and can think of 5 players I would buy.
i wonder what Arsenal will do now?
their remaining games are all certainly winable but does Wenger go for the record of going unbeaten all season?,or resting a few players in lieu of Euro 2004?
a lot of the players have had little rest this season and i'm sure their International Managers would like them to have a little rest and avoid burn-out.
look what happened to France in the 2002 World Cup.
they were the best team in the World,reigning WC and Euro Champions.
they under performed badly and were soon home with their tales between their legs.
i now have 2 wishes for the remainder of the season.
Utd to win the FA Cup (the stigma of losing will be too much for me) and for Pompey to beat Arsenal and get revenge for the 1-5 beating by Arsenal in the FA Cup.
and Teddy to score the winning goal.....

a question for the fellowship.
who would be your choice of Manager of the Season?
yes yes,we all know Wenger will win it but look at his resources.
i personally would go for Alan Curbishly at Charlton.
low profile club,little money but still challenging for a European spot.
gets on with the job quietly and efficently.
votes could go for Bruce (Birmingham),Coleman (Fulham) and O'Leary (Villa)
but they have millionaires as owners and if push came to shove I think money could be found to buy players.
and how about Alladyce (Bolton) and ReBKnapp (Pompey) ?
they have done remarkable jobs with their teams.
teams full of unknowns and free transfers but managed to survive.
and Alladyce might get a special mention for his skills at recruiting World Cup Winners.
Djorkeff was first and now it looks like Rivaldo will be next.
Rivaldo at Bolton on a free transfer is mind boggling when you consider he was being offered around for 20 Million a couple of years ago.
