If English clubs are going to hire geriatics they should hire native oldsters, not support pension funds of players associations from other countries.
Bolton doesn't need to receive this kind of help, which in my view will not last half a season before the dude is gone.
The question for me is not can the guy still play, but why would he play for a team with the class of Bolton.
The roar of the crowd just ain't the same as the crowd he has heard previously.
Anybody know his English speaking capabilities.
And yes I would love to see Beckham play for Chelsea.

If Chelsea gets rid of Ranieri (like, where have I been right?) then there will be a major sweep out of millionaire footballers out of Chelsea.
I would love to see Beckham play for Chelsea, cause your getting two players for one. Don't ever sell Victoria short as a striker.
I knew Rivaldo had no 'sense' for Bolton. I mean what does Bolton have to offer for a Brazil international who can get laid in any town in his home country for free.

So Chelsea are the chief bridesmaid for this season. Their best finish apart from 1955 when they won their only title. Man U will have to go through the motions of a qualifying round next season for the CL.
It is certain that there will be a lot of ins and outs during the off season. Expect the same top three clubs to dominate next season. The question is, in what order?

Leeds fans actually will have a better time of it because they have lower expectations. They just want to get back to the Premier League.
But Man U. fans are arrogant and demand perfection.
