nowt wrong with supporting a sh_te team, we expect defeat, therefore any win over so called 'big clubs' (less local support than ourselves of course) seems soooo much sweeter. Anyhow, why should you turn down a chance to see any premiership side play in Thailand? Kick-off is 6pm so we can be back binging in nana by 9...........sound like a perfect day to me!

Rooney is poison.
I think any team who puts themselves in the financial bind to sign Rooney will regret the decision. He is way over rated, untested, and if you think Madrid's Ronaldo is getting fat, wait till Rooney stops growing up and starts growing out.
He is going to burn some team badly. The dream that coulda been, but only will be to sell copies of the tabloids.
Rooney in Madrid? Ridiculous. He cannot even speak English let alone learn Spainish. Beckham would turn into his Papa, and Victoria would fill his brain with useless 'bright lights' and wild girlies who will sap his strength.
Stay home in Everton for a couple of more years maybe he can become a football man. If he doesn't, it's certain
'Gaza syndrome'.

i thought that now chang beer spansored everton all the thais would be walking around wearing royal blue with 'rooney 18' on the back?
im afraid to say that despite all the history, scenery and culture that south east asia has to offer... what im really looking forward to is watching the footy with a cute little thai girl sitting on my lap drinking chang, then getting her to wear an everton shirt and call me 'rooney' while I shoot all over her open goal.

hate to say it FM,but I actually agree with you.....
Rooney did have a good Euro 2004 and he shone.
but all the hype really pissed me off.
he looked good because most of the other England Players were utter sh_te.
he looked good because a lot of the other Countries top Forwards did not perform.
talk of him going abroad is nonsense.
he is too young and too inexperienced and it would be such a big mistake.
while he might be better off staying at Everton for another Season or 2 I think that might mean a backward step for him.
he needs top class Football to improve his game and while playing in the Premiership is a help,European Competition would do his game the power of good.
personally I don't want to see him at MU,but a Manager like Fergie/Wenger would improve him as a Player.
he would be looked after and at such a young age the rough edges would be rounded off and he would become a better Player.

Frankly Mr. Chelski could afford to buy god if he wanted to.
(Well not really that god!)
But Rooney will also be a marked man with any small change defender trying to hack him down.
When he doesn't score for 3 or 4 games, it's "What's wrong with Rooney?"

to be honest mate, I wouldnt mind seeing the back of rooney now. this ''life long evertonian'' is on holiday in barbados while the supporters who worship him agonise over wether he will sign a new contract or not.. and his agent has demanded to see proof that everton can pay his wages for the next five years!
you can have him if you want FM.. how about joe cole, scott parker, damien duff and £20m. fancy it?
