Jeez the guy will get his share of glory, maybe for one game, but I hate to see English teams waste money on burnt out 'I'm almost a super star' players who look to the league for the last paycheck of their career.

Take the bus Kluivert, Brighton is a nice daytrip.

not sure about Kluivert.
he peaked early in his career but seems to have gone backwards the last couple of Years.
but if he and Shearer click then they could be the best strike partnership next Season.

Brighton,Brighton?
when was the last time you were there?
was it when the Mods and Rockers were having their little meets?....

Naw, early 90's.
Brighton Hove Albion, love them Seagulls!

Up again, down again?
Love 'em, hate 'em!
Still got the scarf from their FA Cup appearance. (member..over two games?)

Hey Noky, we are gonna love the verbal battle between Alex and Jose!

i remember going to a pre-season friendly between Utd and Brighton in the mid 80's.
got the rickety old train from Portsmouth and returned home happy after Utd won.....

remember the FA Cup Final well,Michael Robinson missing that late chance to win the game.
see it on TV every Year......

the chat between Fergie and Morose has already started this week.
Fergie saying money does not guarantee success and Morose replying that that was true.
after all his poor Porto Team knocked megabucks Utd out of the CL last Season.
i think their war of words could overshadow the Fergie/Winger tirades.

I think with the addition of Chelsea in the top three, there is now an added bnefit for PL fans in that, 3somes (Jose/Alex/ Arse.) are better than normal 2sies.

Other teams will try to enter the banter but the big three will make next season one of the best in years, footy wise and bullsh_t wise.

But to bad for Man U. at best 2nd and perhaps 4th!

You read it here first remember Nokna!

we will be Champions again.....You read it here first remember FM.
we start the Season with a weakened Team and I expect us to be behind after the 1st couple of Months.
but just watch us come up on the outside and steal the Trophy from those upstarts in London....

Was Gordon Smith, Nokna who missed that last minute chance in the cup final. Think they had a fanzine called 'And Smith must score...', not sure if still going.

Kinda think Chelsea could do it this year. Always thought they looked better without Jimmy Floyd in the side.

See! The Chelsea fan club gets bigger and bigger.
Time to open another branch of the Chelsea shop on the Suk.

Chelsea is, the logical choice for victory!

"Chelsea is, the logical choice for victory! "

Dunno about that one, they have bought just about every player going but does that make a well-knit team ?

I still think it is going to be close. If Viera goes to Real that may open things up a bit but he did have a period out through injury last year.

I expect Forlan to leave Man Utd and if Keane gets injured they might have a midfield problem but they always play well as a team. They really missed Ferdinand but I expect him to be fired up and fresh after missing so much football.

Liverpool also have some questions that need an answer in midfield. Whether or not Gerrard had money signs in his eyes and couldn't focus on Euro 2004 remains to be seen but a lot of English players the 'media' thinks are great can't 'cut-the-mustard' when it comes to International football, club or otherwise.

Kluivert may produce some old form under Sir Bobby who is a very canny operator. If they had bought Beattie they would be a handful.

Forwards ?

Arsenal have Van Persie and Reyes (didn't seem to play a lot last season so I have classed him as 'addition') as new additions - but they still rely far too much on Henry which works OK in the Premiership but the Continental clubs are good at keeping a player like that quiet.

Man Utd have Saha, Van Nisterooy and Smith + Scholes coming from deep positions, that could be a potent force ?

Liverpoool have Cisse,Owen and Baros. Lethal IF they get the service ?
Kewell can frighten a few defences as well.

Chelsea? Kezman, Robben, Mutu & Drogba. Phew !
Well on paper Chelsea look like they will win it ?

The 'Dark Horses' ? I was going to say Birmingham but Middlesborough have quite a team sheet although they may miss some young legs.
Viduka,Hasselbaink,Juninho,Zenden,Mendieta,Reiziger,Eoghu,Southgate,Maccarone,Nemeth.
Good ouside bet for something as long as they don't pick up too many injuries.

As I said before - CLOSE !
