Quote: from fastmover on 7:08 pm on Aug. 17, 2004 There is no other football except British football at my store on the Suk. All the rest can get stuffed. Yes I can put a name on the back or the front. But sad to say Gaffer 'Hermanolobo' your name is one letter too long! But I think 'ermanolobo' would sound terrifically British! Of course if you dedicate your life to Chelsea, then anything is possible!
No it would be my Real name ! "But I think 'ermanolobo' would sound terrifically British!" If you owned a coffee shop in Ladbrooke Grove ?

Well isn't Arsenal wonderful. And doesn't Chelsea play like..........11 defenders. As a Chelsea fan I am exceedingly sad, to see this kind of kitty-bar-the-door football. Coming forward is what the fans pay to see. They want to see the flow of their team colours weaving through the opposition, dramatically resulting in GOOAAALLLL! Not stacked up like a gymnastics team doing headstands. 'They' say this is the way to win. I say 1-0 is not even kissing your sister. How frightening to think that Chelsea may win the title this way, which would mean that every team would copy this defensive trash style the next year. Why even bother to pay big bucks for strikers? Just get more players that can score on the breakout like Duff and Lampard. Stack the middle of the field, wait for just one break, score, and then go home claiming your the best. Liverool on the weekend showed class, and pushed ahead even after coming back from 1-0 down. After the second goal they wanted the 3rd. And Arsenal, just wants more of everything. Imagine Arsenal doesn't exist. What would the PL look like? With Chelsea leading the way? Perish the thought. My Chelsea shop on the Suk. will be closed today, in memory of attacking Chelsea football.....D.O.A. PS....Rooney pays for hookers? Some over 40? What is wrong with the youth of today? My theory? Rooney will never be a really big superstar...... because he doesn't f_ck like a superstar.

Fastmover - I like an honest assessment of one's team. I think Mourinho is spoilt for choice. He was better at Porto where he didn't have a large squad. It takes time to get things right. Everybody looks for instant success. Remember boring Arsenal of the seventies ? Now look at them = awsome ! They could become Europe's premier team. Real's 'Galaticos' are ageing !

Sures guys, I know. Why Arsenal and yes, Man U., have been great Champions, is because of how they win. It is the temperment of winning that makes sports unique in the professions of life. Winning is not all that difficult when you trying to prevent a loss, but wining with style, verve, and class is another thing that few winners acheive. Porto impressed because they were not supposed to win. Chelsea must impress because they are supposed to win. I think professional sportsmen hate losing, but they hate it even more when the team they are playing against do not put themselves out to win as they should win, with their full power. I do not mean humiliation. I mean, 'Hey guys, we played as well as we can, now you can measure how much you need to improve before we meet up next time'. I really hate the, 'I played only well enough to beat you, and I could have beat you by more, but I didn't respect you enough to give you my best game', bullsh_t. Early days at Chelsea..............but Porto II?

Damn, Blackburn almost had Man U. but Smith is proving to be the saviour of that team right now. Now that was a better show Chelsea put on tonight, and in the second half, my favourite player Duff showed some ball control. Rooney to Man U. and Ruud Van N. goes........?

If Man Utd are behind it seems to be the norm that injury time goes on and on until they equalise. It seems very likely that Rooney will be on his way to Old Trafford shortly.

Yeah...four minutes of injury time, a hand ball and they call Ferguson a genius.....go figure. Not to sound like I predicted it, but I was with a buddy watching the game and just before time expired, I said to him, 'watch out Blackburn players are waiting for the whistle instead of playing out the game'. They were just standing around, whereas Man U was flowing around them...5 seconds later in it goes.
