while Eriksson has a reasonable record in competitive games,only 3 losses (1 on Pens) his overall ability is making trouble.
i don't think he is International Managerial ability and would be better returning to Italy.
he is too loyal to the Players in the fact he won't drop those who injured or off form.
he lets the Players didtate to him and sometimes his tactical awareness leaves a lot to be disired.
his blind faith in James is amazing,James has long had a reputation of f_cking up and he didn't let us down against Austria.
could have been worse what with his charging out the area and missing the ball and the occassion when he again let the ball go through his hands and made a lucky stop with his feet.
but who is there to replace James?
the names in the frame are Kirkland and Green.
Kirkland can't get in the Liverpool Team and Green will let in a lot of Goals at Norwich and maybe suffer a dip in confidence.
we will see what happens on Wednesday against Poland.
