impressive debut certainly.
i have said before that I didn't really want him but I would still cheer every Goal he scored and that is still the case.
i don't particular like him but he is a MU Player and will get my support.
will be interesting to see how he fares in the next few Games.

the problem for Rooney is that now the Media will try and bring him down.
how many People have been made into Stars because of Media campaigns only for the Media to turn.
this has already evident in the Prostitute stories.
as soon as he goes 2 Games without a Goal People will be writing him off and saying what a waste of money.
after all no-one likes a winner....
but People must remember his Goals/Games ratio is crap,but then again that was for Everton.
MU are a different kettle of fish and will provide many more chances for him.
interesting situation for the England Game next Week.
Rooney will walk into the Team,but who will his partner be?
will Sven again refuse to drop the under achieving Owen?
Owen is not Match fit because he is not playing regular Football and should not be in the Team.
he sits on the bench at Real each Game and is already complaing that he is unhappy and might have to think about leaving
