I did make a mistake in my timing, I am a big boy, I hold my hands up to it, guilty as charged!
A client from the States brought me a bottle of JD over with him, I had far to much of it last night and got my days mixed up, and I dont even like the stuff, but when mixed with coke it goes down ok!
They kick of in 25 hours from now, that means that in about 26.75 hours time I will know if it is England or not.
So thank you pisspot for bringing it to my attention

f***ing Rooney (what a "boy")...I am an Atlanta Braves fan...14 championships and 1 title so I am accustomed to heartbreak...but I am pissed off.
To look at England bluntly they didnt deserve to move on...even though they might of beaten the frogs (no offense amerros)...
I will sound gay for this but I wanted the ultimate for beckham and England this time.

The dream is over.
if you look at it critically, it's almost a relief England have gone out.
They did not play well at any time in the tournament, and they played for penalties at the end.
You cannot blame them for for doing so, being 1 man down, but they must have realised it was MORE LIKELY THAN NOT that they would have lost in the shoot out.
I hope Rooney does not get blamed, he's an idiot for sure, but what do you expect... he reacted as anyone would, who is from his background would.
MORE LIKELY THAN NOT it would have gone to penalties anyway if he hadn't kicked that guy in the bollox.
IMHO it would be unreasonable to expect England to win every game ( in the knock outs) without it going to a shoot out. So you must face your maker sooner or later.
You can talk about confidence/ technique etc.. and I think this is a good point. No team in the last 20 years has got to/ won the final without winning a penalty shoot out. Think about it.
England must seriously look at themselves, and PRACTICE penalties. It is the only answer.
All the talk about formations and personnel is redundant.
