Anyways, it is impressive how many Australians have become football experts, lately. Australia lost because it just didn't score, and wouldn't have scored should they have played 3 days, 11 against 10.

To be honest, Australia did not deserve to lose and for a top tier team like Italy, having to rely on a poor decision of the referee to overcome the newcomer Aussies it'a shame...with all experience and talent in the azzurri team, they should have won 6-0 with ease....
Good that Italy did balance the poor game vs Australia with a superb game vs Germany.....
And yes, Forza Azzurri!

The US gave the Italians the best game of the WC. Hell, we scored two goals on them (1 taken away because the german referee was on the take). Germans had their chances in overtime, Podoski miss hit a header right in front of the goal. Italy will be Victorias over France/Portugal. Why, because we play dirty with style.

Well, thank God, it's finally over and I want to be the first to admit that I was wrong about something.
I posted earlier that a penalty shoot-out was a ridiculous way to end a game of this importance. Now I see the error of my ways after Italy beat France this way.
It is the most HUMANE way to end 3 hours of sheer tedium and get a winner chosen. If they had played sudden death, it could have taken another two days to decide the winner.
Please, keep the penalty shoot-outs in the game.

I had a great view from my seat on the half-way line on the second row, I could nearly reach out and touch them, no wonder it had a face value of 400 euro.
I told my family and friends to listen out for my booing when Ronaldo touches the ball, lol I was joined by 50,000 others every time he touched it, great fun!!
Well pissyboy, I do hope you are having a rotten time in the UK, please do us both a favour and stay out of Scotland, its not big enough for my arse and your ego!
I have to say that the stadium in Munich is without doubt the best I have ever been to, (dont listen to pissyboy, I have been to many) if the new Wembley is as good, fans are in for a real treat.
Well done Germany!
Its just a shame that Italy won, but then again, the best 3 teams in the competition didnt play well enough to deserve it!
Only 4 more years to go!
